Hey Snookerkingexe- I just subscribed to your channel on my new account-I'm the guy that had a great Christmas gift (your guitar) but arrived with a fucked up PU selector. American Musical is where she bought it and they took care of it in a week TOTAL including shipping-great people to deal with! Now I love this axe! Keep on rockin!
Tried a set of 13's on this axe but way too much bass sound and really rough on the fingers, what gauge are you using? I understand Malcolm uses 12's??
Thanks for your response, loved your axe so much that my wife just bought me the exact one you are playing for Christmas WHAT A WIFE HUH! Plays great only problem is pick up selector won't select the neck pickup and stay put and bridge pick up holds only once in a while, so will be calling Arizona after the holidays. Now just have to get as good as you LOL
@myhvacparts That are great news!! A pitty with the selector, but the guitar is worth it! Greetings to your wife and if you have any further questions about this guitar, just ask! =)
@myhvacparts hello! =) This modellis a Gretsch G5245T from the electromatic cllection (not as expensive as the professional collection^^) And I'm sorry, but I never heard of problems with the zero fret (This model has no zero fret just a normal nut) as far as I know the professional collection has a zero fret, but I have no Idea with problems about that, sorry =(
Great guitar work, I play this on my Les Pauls but I just HAVE to get a Gtetsch. What model is this one? I just suscribed, but how about Flick of a Switch next? Keep it up man, you are REALLY good! And I LOVE your axe!
Nice tone. I tried audicity, but when I record with my amp it seems to "studder" and make a popping noise every so offten. I wish Gretech made Malcoms signature with the opened pick up holes. Gota get me hands on his signature now haha
If I had an AC/DC tribute band , You would be the Malcolm

I agree with weyes08 about "It's not as easy to play this as it looks" but snookerkingexe does a bang up job on it!
