well, they run in a direction, then they do a sudden turn and start running to the edge. when they get to the edge however, they dont't fall off... they just keep walkng and walking. its kind of like theyre walking in the same position and place they were in. theyre walking in place near the edge.
@corbinbleu77 Can you explain in greater detail? There is a way to walk on air, but only if you're holding the Golden Hammer. Otherwise, it sounds like cheating.
I asked that because I really don't know. Every time Pit shows up in a Sudden Death I've seen, Pit just goes up close to fight rather than use the arrows.
Obviously Temple is a popular taunt place because if some sneaky idiot suddenly tries to kill you while you're taunting (in the last few seconds) it'll be plain bad. Temple gives you plenty of space for each to have their own place to taunt, without fearing that someone may attack you. XD
Whenever I play on Temple, I always get taunt parties too (which I'm more than happy to play in). I think it's like that because the stage is so big so it's pointless to fight because the winner is always the first person to get a KO.
Then again, sometimes you get that one person who tries to disrupt the party. I usually try to fight that person by myself to keep them away from the others. =)
What about New Pork City? (I'm guessing it's because the Ultimate Chimera is a party-pooper.)
I typically see the room become a 3-on-1 against the party crasher. Oddly, party crashers are always replaced by another party crasher when they leave.
New Pork City is the same. Taunt parties and the occasional party pooper. Oddly enough, the Chimera thing doesn't KO that much when I play there. Strange, but true. I've never been KOed by it yet. I've only seen it KO like three times before.
I have 3-on-1's all the time when I'm in taunt parties. Like just yesterday, me (playing as Sheik), a Captain Falcon and a Falco kept ganging up on a Zero Suit Samus because she kept on trying to attack everyone.
No, I mean that I hardly ever see taunt parties on New Pork City. They're all on Final Destination or Temple.
(I've been tossed into the Ultimate Chimera before, by the way.)
It's odd that the party pooper takes so long to understand that they're not welcome to do what they're doing. I wonder if they're trying to enforce their way of play on the others.
Oh. Well I get taunt parties a lot on New Pork (or attempted ones anyway).
I think party poopers continue to fight because they think that if they keep on trying, a real fight will eventually break out. Just a guess. I don't know how party poopers think. -_-
Flat-out insistence that people play their way rather than leaving the room and finding someone else? Can't say I'm not like that either when I'm put up against a bunch of Final Destinationers, though the difference is that I can't seem to escape Final Destinationers.
I do notice from people who hate taunt parties that they rarely notice that everyone else is doing them.
Final Destinationers hate the Mario Bros. stage. That's what I've gathered. Whenever I face an "FD Trap", as I like to call it, I insist on Mario Bros. They almost always leave right after should the stage get picked.
And if that doesn't work, then I end up having to use my best character on them to teach them a lesson. They hate my 2-D little friend ;)
I've tried picking stages like Rumble Falls, WarioWare, and Mario Bros. The problem is...they're never selected! I often have to go through 10 to 15 Final Destination matches until the game picks my stage.
Happens nearly every time I play it...For some reason, leaving for another room puts me up against another bunch of Final Destinationers. They're overrunning the game.
Wow. That's just terrible luck. I feel for you. Sometimes I play teams instead. Final Destination seems to appear less there. But there are ten times more spammers there (Pikachu). So it's pretty much a lose/lose scenario. I prefer playing friend matches to with anyone matches.
The video following this one has him say it twice in Mario Bros., which was the first time I heard him say it. He says, "I'm done for" pretty quietly.
I really like that shield. It can sometimes function like Mario's cape. DK tried to use a full charged punch on me and when I used the shield, close range of course, DK turned the other way.

@corbinbleu77 Sounds more like a glitch then. You have a defective copy of the game.

does anyone know how to walk on edges? i saw people walk endlessly on edes and not fall off... can anyone answer me?

@corbinbleu77 I don't get what you mean. This is a 2-D game, so how can someone walk on edges?
Overhazard 1 year ago
@Overhazard i mean that near edges they just keep walking... they dont walk off the stage...

Ah, it's always great getting a fan.
That third match sudden death really sucked for Pit, he was just inches above Zelda's head.

People still try anyway. What's odd is that the people who try to make the others fight are very persistent.

Yay for Taunt Partying.
I always use Jigglypuff and wiggle my way into my foe's hearts, FORCING them to play along.
Otherwise I become Lucas (Hulk?) and SMAAAASH.

It's probably because of certain times, perhaps that Final Destinationers congregate at around the same time I play SSBB online.

That is strange. I made a friend in the Temple and we both chose Zelda for a while. But it wasn't that match.

Zelda seems to be a favorite for Temple taunt parties, it seems.

This is why I love Moltres.
Also, I like how Pit said "I'm done for..." when he was KO'd at 7:32. He doesn't say that very often.

Although, I don't think I've ever heard him say it in person in my game. If he has, I never caught it.

"And don't you dare tell me to use the C-stick to Smash Attack through that Angel Ring--I use the Nunchuk scheme."
I think you can turn on a Shake Smash feature where you flick the remote in a direction and it works like the C-Stick.

It's just because temple is so big, it makes it really easy to taunt people. Also, isn't it banned from competitive play?
dRevan64 2 years ago
Im pretty sure it is banned from competive play, since there is a wall on Temple which makes King DeDeDe's infinitive chaingrab possible.

I thought it was because there are two loops where one person could endlessly run away from another.

Weakest Link! Nice one. I love the Mirror Shield, but I wonder why it can defend against Din's Fire when it can't reflect it back?

Because it's a projectile, I suppose. I also found it pretty odd that it can't be reflected back.
