no dude a Ak 47 shoots a 7.62x39mm round it has high Kinetic energy but they don't make armor piercing rounds for the Ak, it is made for taking out Infantry not armored APCs or tanks, really only guns like the m-82 Barrett 50 cal. sniper can do this look it up.

you are not always in situation to have air support or artillery support....i know that the best xD we dont have much planes just assault ground support j22 Orao and advanced trainers Super Galeb G4....and no gunships...so we need to practice suppresing fire and advancing on sniper nest....
unless you know where the sniper is and their is a safe route to advance on the position then the only other option is a javelin or RPG, a good sniper will see you well before you know where they are!!!
Mjah we often use Zolja 64mm for that (similar to AT4 or Abmrust Matador...but older.).... well good sniper he cannot kill 10 man for 30sec...he can hit one but others will cover him with fire and rest will run onto him....
and a good sniper shoots n scoots 2 a new position.
and in a place like iraq their are hundreds of positions a sniper can move too, unless they are stupid and stay, and what if it's an ambush others waiting to ambush advancing troops, thats why air or rpg's is the best option..
obviously you dont know till he shoots and if his position aint spotted then their is nothing that can be done (as we cant drop 500+lb's on random houses)
back track through cover, use technology, but my initial point was if he is spotted then use all means to save your soldiers life's,

the "firecracker" sound, or the snappier firing weapons are ak47s. they continue firing until the jdam hits, but even after that, you fire at known or suspected enemy positions

no it wasn't hellfire rockets do not make that big of an explosion. May have bee a JDAM or something along those lines but that bomb came from a plane not a hellicopter
