In Québec, Canada, we have a more civilized way to kill turkeys. We put them alive in a room with CO2, so they fall asleep. In fact, they gently fall into a deep coma. Then, we cut their neck. Killed when asleep. Could we consider a death so sweet ? Kill me softly they said... But in ancient contries like UK, they still used barbarian ways.

This is a stat question for an entire country of close to 1.2 billion people, whatever personal experience you, or your entire social circle has is far too small a sample size to matter. It seems pretty quick and relatively painless, so it's not that. Are fish somehow of lesser value than turkeys, so it's okay to kill one but not the other? @KaranfiLL88 Actually, turkeys are notoriously difficult to handle and kill humanely. It's b/c their skittish and surprisingly quick. Trying to behead a turkey would produce a higher failure rate and thus more suffering for the animals.
