Im a huge fan of Mario Party but I havent got a Wii, so Ive played all of them bar 8. I sell video games and have sold this game, but never knew it was so similar to Mario Party. Personally, I prefer Mario, but I'd love this game just as much as Mario's series if I played it fully

4:27 IS A COMPLETE FAIL!!!! Dude read the instructions before starting the Mini Game. We always have a PRACTICE round first. It also means you play more Mini Games due to the duplication.

i know everyone is saying its a rip off of mario party, (which it sort of is :P) but in mario party you cant exactly have a minigame to hide the wii remotes & to be the first one to grab it. :P

@mymysuzie Wii Party is a lot of fun with 4 players. I was saying the newest installment to the Mario Party series, Mario Party 8 was not very good. However I am slowly turning round to liking it now that I have seen more of the Mini Games.

Some of the mini games in Wii Party seem like they ran out of ideas, especially the CAMERA/PHOTO shoot ones which are so very very basic.

However it is a good party game which is the important thing. With various gametypes from quick 15 mins to 60 mins.

@TheRandomGuyNextDoor This is a very fun game. I personally would get both. Mario Party 8 seems to be expensive (in the UK) both new and preowned. However £25 for Wii Party, £30 including official nintendo Wii Remote is a very good deal.

I hope this is as entertaining as the Mario Party games. It doesn't really look like it though, because it's been made even more basic then the simple formula of; traverse through board, play minigames, get coins, spend them on stars, hope to win. Now it's just trying to race to the finish. I prefer the age old formula.

@ContraNetworkHD Motion Plus seems such a gimic. How many games actually benefit a great deal from it other than Wii Sports Resort? Although the new Wii Remotes have built in Motion Plus at the same cost £25-30 so I might aswell get that one if they develop some ground breaking games that use the Motion Plus.

This game looks fun! I'm gonna ask for it for Christmas if a lot of people like it. One thing though is that it looks exactly like Mario Party & I love the Mario Party games! I mainly like the Wii games where you can play as your Miis.
