Typical setup for the tractor-truck in the USA, the end dump though would be a two axle, frameless type.

Nontheless nice rig, too bad PACCAR won't import these to the states now that they have an engine plant building the MX Engine in the U.S.

@kalanike A few years ago they had some test trucks running in the U.S.A.

But the maxium load in Holland is 50 tons. About 100.000 LBS with that setup.

For us here in Hawaii, the tonnage can run from 32 tons (Transfer Dump), 40 tons (Frameless, Two-Axle End Dump) to 48 tons (Multi-Axle Single Unit End Dump).

@kalanike The maxium horse power of daf is 510, and that is pretty low as you see that SCANIA has a730HP V8 and Volvo 700HP 6 cilinder inline engine.

@DAFHOLLAND1 I've noticed that. Why did DAF leave the max hp @ 510? I've heard before that they were gonna make a 560hp version of the MX Engine...

What happened to that version? Did DAF just wanted to be conservative or did they feel they had no need in selling vehicles with high hp engines in them?

@kalanike I don't know but 510 hp is enough for almost everything. And they got very strong back axles. Because these 2 axles can carry 32 tons.

And look at youtube for this "Jan Bakker Daf CF" the maxium legaly weight of this truck with load is 50 tons.

And some dumper trucks like the DAF CF has a axle that is powerd-steers-and can be lifted.

Well first of all we don't have that setup

we have four wheels per axle.

Three axles 12 wheels

I have been retired for all most 15 years now but when I was hauling for the railway with that set up we could haul 60 thousand pounds payload plus the weight of the container your talking

about 68,000 if you want you can look it up on internet to see what can be used now days cheers

It amazes me how you haul all that weight with a trailer like that with three axles and only two wheels per axle.

Hmm they haul about 32-34 Tons.

I am not that much in too the truck rules, but what are you guys allowed to haul on a set up like that??
