This is true- a lot of the produce in Fresh and Easy is California grown- wish they would sell Gilroy Garlic instead of China or Argentina.

As much as I love the produce at Fresh & Easy, The over packaging on many of the vegetables is what keeps me from purchasing. I really hope their next step is looking at ways to reduce some of the plastics.

I love the easy check-out and fresh foods. You CAN taste the difference! :-)

Funny they claim to be green but have some of there managers drive over a hundred miles or more to work everyday. Great for the O-zone layer.....

That would explain why the grapes and strawberries are so good! Nothing like fresh picked fruit!

My mom works therre, she always bring home fresh strawberry s and grapes.

So it is basically on the shelf from picking in less than 2 days! That is awesome! You CAN taste the difference. Cannot wait to visit an area with a F&E, again!
