He could be Max Payne in an outstanding, (giving JUSTICE to the game) REBOOT. Would not more fans come if he garnished the look and starred in something with an already strong fan base? JCVD needs a great director, screenplay, cinematographer, choreographer, art direction (look what Alex Proyas did with The Crow), and solid, (albeit not huge) budget to compliment his gritty looks and acting abilities. Forget 90's action hero formula. The guy can act. Put him in something catchy, clever, and new.

Just watched this, wasn't quite what I expected. This was really good. Van Damme's best movie since Timecop and Hard Target. The acting is great, the gritty feeling is just awesome, and the music fits the film perfectly. Best acting from Van Damme, ever!
