Well it is pretty rare because it is a conversion upgrade of the 725hp supersnake. but if you have a 725hp super snake you can send it back to shelby and he will pump it up to 900hp.
ahhh yea i know a guy that bought just a shelby gt and had just about every upgrade possible put in it. very fun car. but the last time he had it dyno tuned it made 550 i believe at the wheels not positive. and went for a sunday drive and blew a rod through the crank. bad day for a beautiful ride. actually carroll shelby sighned his car on his 85th birthday. pretty sweet

The zo6 engine has been completely rebuilt if it is to survive the 8s and has some sort of power adder or it's a very very large engine. This is a stock long block, only 330 cubic inches and they are seeing how far it will go with a couple of small turbos. A built Ford GT engine will go in after this one is done and should get them into the 7s....
i dont think they'll need to rebuild it. stock FGT internals are rated to 1500HP, but the FGT aluminum block is just as strong if not stronger and lighter and the outgoing iron block. aeromotive built a GT500 dragster based on a built and desrtoked FGT engine (322ci v. 330ci) and it holds the modular record 6.54 @215 1/4mile. so yea low 8's if not 7's are surely capable
