Gracie1232...SAC is an abbreviation for Blessed Sacrament. The uniform is that of the Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights drum & bugle corps. They were a powerhouse drum corps of the 50's & 60's and have set the standard for rudimental drumming.
You don't know what you're talking about gracie1232. Wilson isn't even in the same league as Raymond. And, this is a solo, not a duet. Beside that, looks as though Wilson's clothes were in the laundry when his video was shot so he used his sister's school clothes instead.
I agree about Wilson's clothes but I was expressing an opinion on who's playing I prefer. There is no empiriccal way of measuring this. The fact that you use a phrase like 'same league' to compare the two kinda reinforces my point about it becoming more like an athletic competition than music.

Raymond's solo is extremely musical. Aside from the variations of rudiments and hybrids, he changes tempo throughout and incorporates loud/soft passages in doing so. He is extremely tasty in his use of all elements in his solo and brings it to a climax appropriately. Maybe reeducate yourself about solo drumming.

not only is he a great pleayer but he is also a great teacher... i had him as a caption head at drum corp and i learned more than i thought i would... i still watch this solo and wonder what the hell some of the stuff is even with the music in front of me
this dude is insane. he wrote our music one year at osborne high school and that stuff was awsome. he came to our school to play his solo skyscraper which is what he is playing in this video. and he is crazy good. he worked our drumline out one saturday and our arms were gonna fall off.
I LOVE the slow, controlled simplicity. Tempo and accuracy is hard when slow, not too many kids in DCI try that with their solos. This guy is a true professional and entertainer! Awesome job!
