It's called "accent". His English is actually perfect, as in, his grammar and sentence structures are perfectly good. Speaking a language with an accent does not equal speaking badly. ^__^

uh.. LOL! It's Malay accent. ^__^

Just a few example, in this video, "that" was pronounced "det", the silence th is completely missing. "Three ringgit", was pronounced like "tree", again, the "th" is missing. But like I said, the grammar is perfect. I bet I do not sound perfect in Malay either, because I will have an accent too. ^__^

His pronunciation is British because our English is British English, but his accent is Malay, just like what janganbimbang said.

We're native speakers. I'm pretty sure we know what we sound like.
