OMG is this realistic--speaking as a 25 year adjuster this is ABSOLUTELY realistic. I wont post names because these same companies use google alerts to search for negative comments (I shit you not--I work for one now). All I can say is I happy I have the acquired knowledge of an adjuster because without it I would have been f'ed ever time as a consumer I tried to file a claim without it.
Not like the Socialist / Marxists dont know how to create paper work behemouths and bureacracy . Have you read the 2600 pages of HR3200 and the 1800 pages of ammendments ? You can bet your legislature rep didnt.
but feel better, at least that fist bearing down on you is socialist.
@valenciacityx This is more than just socialism or capitalism. This is about people's lives. The healthcare bill that passed would be like a cheap imitation of Universal healthcare but isn't. People's lives are put in the line just for some fat cats can make a profit. If Universal Healthcare happens and it means my taxes go up, so be it. I don't mind paying a little extra. It's better than paying some assholes so they can or cannot cover me.
HAHA! YES! I knew someone else caught it except me!!!...Predictive programming written all OVER THIS!...Take note that they put it near the beginning of the movie too because they know you'll be more likely to remember it...Same thing with pharmacy commercials...Look up Jesuits & the New World Order...
I think you go too hard after capitalism. Capitalism works. What doesn't work is corporatism, where corporations have legal sway over making ethical decisions. Don't get me wrong, I am 100% behind nationalizing health care. I think these out-dated money grubbing dinosaurs need to enter the tomes of history, but I can't avert my eyes to the laws of supply and demand. We need firm government regulation of the economic capitalistic infrastructure.
"We need firm government regulation of the economic capitalistic infrastructure."
That is exactly what I strive for. Like you stated, Capitalism does work, with regulations. I'm in no means a Socialist, but I do agree that we need to implement some Socialistic aspects to our government. Their are already some good forms of Socialism in our society (public schools, roads, mail, regulations, ect.)
I also agree on a nationalized health care system.
I watch "The Young Turks" with Cenk Urgur every day! My favorite source for political commentary! They are "awesome"! (if you got why I put quotes around "awesome"). XD
@DixonRants Funny! The socialistic aspects of our government are working so well that we should give them even more control... like public schools (really?), roads (you're kidding, right?), mail (uh, this is sarcasm, I hope...), regulations (which are driving private businesses to the brink?!). Gee, you left off the other great stuff like Medicare (bankrupt), Social Security (going bankrupt) and AmTrack (beyond bankrupt). In fact, I can't think of a single thing government does well!
@ConservativeRC Well said! If you think National healthcare is a good idea do this. Break your arm. Then go the DMV grab a ticket. Thats your next dr's appt.
@chenalos I'm always amazed that well-meaning people who despise corporations are willing to give greater power to a centralized government. Corporations have competitors... if you don't like their service, change providers. Over time, market forces keep them in check. The government has no real competition in its primary functions and enforces its will with guns and incarceration. Thinking that different people operate in each structure is ludicrous. Both need restraint... government moreso.
Oh my God,dude shut up!Stop picking on Disney,AND EVERY OTHER COMPANY/AGENCY AND CONGRESS AND EVERYTHING ELSE!Pull back!Mr.Incredible was a SUPER HERO!This is the perfect job for him!He works at a business which practically STEALS from people.JUST SHUT UP!
that scene was actually (as director Brad Bird put it) to show how Bob was claustrophopbic in his new life and how he wanted to continue being a hero. But, the similarities there are extremely evident when you think about it. interesting. to answer your question, yes, all insurance companies want to day is get rich and watch the rest of the world go up in flames as they sit in some lounge chair on a beach "helping" us. the bastards.
