Washington's tournament run is over, but powerful big man Jon Brockman has nothing to be ashamed of. for the second game in a row, he OWNED the paint. in their first round game, he dominated SEC shot-blocker Jarvis Vanardo and finished with 14 rebounds and 10 points on just 8 shots.

today against Purdue, Brockman was a one-man wrecking crew in the paint! he had 20 points and 18 rebounds in the loss.

it makes you wonder why Brockman is the only white man who sees the court for Washington...

Also, I was at the Memphis @ Sac game last week, and watching Spencer Hawes was bitter-sweet. It was really good to see him do well, but it would have been really fun to watch him play with Brockman at Washington for another year or two. Brockman would have scored a lot off of passes from him, and teams would have to double team one of them, and the other would go for 30. The future of UW basketball is bright as hell, and wishing for Hawes back is pissing in the breeze. MBA is a great player.

He is playing well man. I watch Sac play all the time, I live about an hour from there. I watched him play live against Memphis last week. Still, it would have served him well to spend another year at Washington no doubt. At least I am a Dawgs fan and a Kings fan.
