sweet guitar, I always wondered if two pick guards would deaden the top vibrations ? do you find it has alot of projection compared to your Martin ? I know apples / oranges but just wondering as I have never been able to play one.

Hey PT. Long time. Great tune. When you say 'tuned down' a bit, are you meaning like all 6-strings by a half step (or more)? Thanks. The Everly's owned it for a while, didn't they?
@50c50t Yes, all strings tuned down a little. Just tune your E to that first chord. Popular opinion had the Everlys washed up by around 1965, but they were still doing some great stuff into the early 70s and beyond.
@whpriol1 The first chord of the song is an E chord. Tune your E string to that chord, then tune the rest of your strings according to where your E is tuned.
I prefer Keiths version!

@steventylerrocks4730 Sorry, I like Aerosmith, but I hate that song. It was great the first 10,000 times I heard it, but since then, not so much.

Great job and most fitting as the Stones toured with the EB's in the early days. I think they had an impact on Keith's ballad side.
