B. Let's say you're in Classic Planet Wisp in Sonic Generations. Classic Sonic is consistenly depicted as being a mute in the game. You wanna use Spikes, and SOMEONE says "SPIKES!". Since Classic Sonic is a mute, is that the announcer or (Classic) Sonic?

Sonic isn't popular in Japan. Sonic X tanked there. HARD. SEGA had high hopes on Colors, but wanted to do something Japanese children may like, to feel "identified with" (because, let's be honest, Sonic's creation was made thinking about American children). Pull the Kamen Rider refference.

It never fails. Because we know Kamen Rider is amazingly popular there, almost every japanese work refferences it one way or another.

Everything from the armor design to the transformation scene to his finisher on the final boss are inspired by the series GARO. Final boss design of Black Knight MIGHT also be inspired by the series, but that's a stretch. Then again, the final boss of Colors seems to be inspired by the chest design of the blue enemy in the Kamen Rider scene you showed.

It's just the same voice actor. Voice actors dont make enough money to be picky about their roles, he has the "announcer voice" down pretty good so he was offered the job, its just a coincidence.
