  • She has been through alot, yet she had talent, grace, voice, her fans and yes legs. Dark glasses are not a gimmick. She has severe sensitivity to light since she got hit by a car. She also requires a cane to walk so she is often sitting to sing. Read up on her, she is a true inspiration and an advocate for music therapy!

  • musica de la buena!!!! einfach klasse

  • A cello solo? Now there's something you don't hear every day. Right on.

  • Voice, style, impact! Why legs?

  • More than legs... voice, personalism, style. Influences are there, but do not overcome. Cream! That is it!

  • ¡¡¡¡¡¡ CALIDAD Y SENSUALIDAD A PARTES IGUALES ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡...

  • I realized at the end of the video that my mouth had been hanging open the entire time.

  • her legs, on top of everything else, are fucking outstanding...

  • smooth.... gjennomført, ja..:)

  • 2MinutesToMidnightt

perhaps the OP was referring to the music and not the singing? I like both but I would quite understand people not liking the scatting in the vocals but liking the music itself.

  • 0:54 to 1:00 best camera work ever

  • Lord, why is the audience so still after the song ends?? I would applaud like mad!

  • Are you speaking of Lady CaCa - who ain't no lady!

  • I lovee eherrr legsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss OMG I Think i jsut turned to a Lezbian :)

  • Who'da thought shoes could be provocative, but her choice of apparel set aside; she's a breath taking talent:)

  • Sinuously cool and slinky.

  • Really great voice, except this Broba dodo dadda drumm thing, it's annoying and especially the "Rrrrrrrrr.." is unsexy, sorry ;-) But I love this kind of music!

  • @LazyRay87 ...you say you love this kind of music but you didn't even know what scatting is?

  • Very Julie London-like.

  • DAYUM. <3

  • ese chelista es AMAZING!!

  • what's wrong with those two people?

they know melody gardot, they seek a video of "who will comfort me", they find a performance that gets even better than the studio version and they DISLIKE the effin' video? what was there for'em to dislike, the SHOES? I'D KILL FOR THE SHOES!

  • @LydiVak I have heard this song twice in concert and maybe three more times on YouTube. She never sings it the same way. She is a genius and just happens to have an amazing voice and is gorgeous, pretty good for someone who almost died at 19.

  • @LydiVak not talking about her style...damn great!

  • I will!!!!

  • @1hobo12 yeah, you wish:))

  • saw this show last night on tv. I was blown away by her voice, band and everything! Amazing music!

  • The lack of a 'love' button hurts me. This is pure music genius.

  • la grande classe la melody

  • Wow! Peggy Lee's long lost granddaughter! :D

  • oplevede Melody Gardot ved et tilfælde på Norsk TV i forgårs. Hun var fantastisk og havde fire fremragende musikere med - optaget i Grieghallen. Fabelagtigt!

  • i especially like that she interprets her songs completely new when she sings live

  • Classy, stylish, set on a high artistic level, and yet not afraid to be sexy... And somehow so deeply dignified in her attitude....gotta love her. And the musicians around her!

  • legs legs legs legs legs legs legs legs legs legs legs

  • @gary108 Not only! That's what is the most impressive!

  • shes got soul beyond her years... young fresh... heartbreak still stag.. and quite clear... very glad she sang Cole Porter's " get out of town " a treasure... jazz for our generation.... and might i add, at its finest.... beautiful voice which will be heard through the ages... thanks Melody.

  • She's like Elvis, Nina Simone, and Anastasia all wrapped into one :).

  • @WagnerDanny Errr.. lol!

  • @tis2nwod errrrr to you too lol

  • @WagnerDanny lol... I just hope I never hear Nina Simone in the same sentence as Anastacia again.. Poor Nina :(

  • she sounds like the female version of devendra banhart

  • How come her music does not suck? I'm so used to the fact that most of today's music sucks that I cannot take this. Give me Miley Cyrus!

  • she would perfectly fit with tom waits

  • Stilvoll und eine wahnsinnige Jazz-Stimme. Ein Licht am Ende des Tunnels aus Pop-Musik-Einheitsbrei...

  • Einmalig:)))))

  • Where can I find the official video? (In Youtube)

  • Beautiful music, beautiful woman.Eminem, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Lady Gaga ... just some bad dreams!

  • @SuperPhlo

Eminem deserves a little credit :) your of course entitled to your opinion, he might not be your cup of tea....but..

There are meaning behind his lyrics, which is rap and not about women, drugs, or money...and thats big in my book

plus he has the passion melody has :)

  • @Superphlo

ha. All of Melodys songs are about her whining about needing a man :p

People sing about what they need to sing about, and sometimes the meanings to songs are universal.

Eminems songs they are not as plain as the lyrics for some reason appear to some people. Sarcasm? Hidden meanings? Personal refrences? Jokes? Hes talented and can rap well. But not your style or what you like which is fine, i can respect that ! Its really how you look at it, I love Melody and Eminem.

  • @numbforthought Agreed. Each to their own. I'd rather the masses didn't clamber over people like Melody as it makes it more, say, intimate to myself. I don't hear it everywhere I go. I listen to it when it suits me and when I can most appreciate it. We here on this just have a highly developed sense for finer, more elegant music which more unfortunate people have been blessed with.

  • @boredvesuvian *haven't...

  • @boredvesuvian

I definitely hear you. Melody has more class in her finger nail then Eminem has in his entire body. ha! Music is one thing that is mine, up until now I would tell people I am selfish with my music...but the way you put it 'intimate' and listening to it when you can really soak it in. That's just a beautiful way to put it. It is great when more people can hear what we are hearing, it just sometimes can ruin the spirit. From your comment alone, surely you know exactly what i mean.

  • @numbforthought

Eminem is very, very good though

  • This is very different from the versions of this song she's delivered before. She is constantly reinventing, but I can't wait for some new songs.

  • sutcha sexy woman! and her voice!!!

  • wow her style is like her music so cool and sexy.

  • She's amazing.

  • lil' shiverin' emotion can move mountains and bring me back to life when im down
