  • This man proves that you don't need an 8000 $ guitar to make it sound good. The sound is in the fingers, not the guitar. \m/

  • Ew a Squier..... great cover tho man :)

  • actually that's not even close to 100%

  • @guth4n17 I agree, if that was 100%, glad this guy is not doing my taxes. Although he is much better than I am.

  • Awsome. Some day I will tackle that solo. I hope I can get it half as good.

  • squire? really? if your that good get a million dollar '59 les paul

  • SQUIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You know, it doesn't really matter whether it's 99.9% or 100% correct. It's a cover for Pete's Sake! You're supposed to add you're own stuff into it. I don't think even Eddie plays his solos these days like the originals.

  • 99.7% no more! No less!

  • Lovely Bijit ... 0:07 & 0:23 stunning ... You are awesome man, I was lucky to hear you in college - those late nights!!

  • U rock Bijit!!! Let's Rock it up!! :)

  • amazingoscity = 110%

how many guitarists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

    A. 20, one to do it and 19 to say i could do it better

  • He plays a song by Van Halen and he wears a T-shirt by Queen ...

  • @Fingerdanze so?

  • @Fingerdanze So, he's a 'gay' Eddie fan.

Who can blame him Eddie was a real hottie in his day :)

  • that's the best I've ever heard it done besides the man himself. Nice job.

  • Very smooth transitions

  • why the hell it looks like epic slow mo ?

  • amazes me

  • everybody make mistakes so its 99.9%

  • Lol I love how he wears a Queen shirt, on a Van Halen song, haha what ever,it doesn't mean anything, great video.

  • This guy is the Milli Vanilli of guitar players

  • sorry but wrong t shirt

  • @rideandlively ... This is actually with stock squier pick ups . I later (much later) replaced them with strat pickups. I believe a lot of tone control comes from the actual playing. Saw some comment about looking up Paul Gilbert, but Paul Gilbert has a huge Eddie Van Halen influence and even recorded a tribute track called 3 E's for Eddie. Many commenters have no clue what they comment about here actually

  • so i know that squier is far from stock..what pickups do you have?

  • One day... ONE DAY I WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS!!!!!! ONE DAY!!!

  • @Ark4evah just do it before you get old :P

  • Nice job! You managed to do a pretty good job of connecting the overdubbed parts about as smoothly as can be expected in a live take...Really good!

  • This sounds so close to the original its either fake or just plain awesome.

  • he did it perfectly....on a squir????? EPIC

  • %99.99 acurate. fail.

  • fucken awesome mate,love it

  • Why does everyone hate on Squier guitars? It's the player, not the guitar

  • this guy probably never gets laid.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork lemme guess u say the EXACT same thing on guitar hero vids huh?

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 van halen doesn't suck they r the greatest

  • Very good. But at 0:22 u made 1 note error. I could hear it. Other people may not because there tone deaf. Thumbs up if you could hear it

  • Comment removed

  • wow, van halen sucks....

Look up shawn lane and paul gilbert if you wanna get better.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 Only people who don't understand music and have never progressed their musical skill to any meaningful level can proclaim that any one musician is better. It's not about the sound, it's about the soul and every guitarists music feels different.

  • @annoythefish I'm not saying that music is about who has the biggest scales, but if you wanna get better musically look up other people.

Only people who don't practice there theory and improv say that soul is important in a soul-less soloist like van halen.

You wanna talk soul, say jimmy page,BB KIng, or jimmy hendrix not this tool.

  • @Jamsessionroom1337 You say that van halen is a soul-less player, But I can feel his soul.

  • Nice t-shirt!! Solo pretty good too!

  • why does this guy use squier??

  • Well done dude

  • krank....!!!!

  • I don't like seeing "100% accurate" in the title... It's arrogant. You played it great but it is not exactly the same.

  • @my5thbebo the only time jackson makes a decent guitar is either out of its custom shop which they're randy reissue even sucked or when they were partnered up with charvel in the 90's other wise known as the charvel by jackson. and esp guitars have the worst action and their pickups are horrible the only time they made good neck was when they made them for kramer in the 80s. Those brands are meant nowadays for metal players who droptuner their guitars not for a normal player.

  • lol squire

  • @my5thbebo why does everyone hate squier? hes better than you and your just jealous because the squier you own sits in your closet because you can't play it. ESP, Jackson and cort all make shitty guitars so obviously you have no clue what your talking about.

  • @VanHalenEVH5150 are you crazy? at least ESP and Jackson produce good guitars and they're used by good guitarists as well, (such as Marty Friedman, Randy Rhoads, George lynch....) (and I'm very sorry about my English :P )

  • Hi, without a doubt you got the skills, but please play no squier, and use better equip.

    Greetz from germany, good job!

  • Black people stop voting down the white man!

  • squire bullet strat by any chance? wish i could play mine that well, tip of the hat sir! they are pretty good guitars for the price.

  • try pluggin the guitar in, and cuttin the backing track

  • DUDE, THAT IS THE COOLEST T-SHIRT EVER INVENTED, I WOULD KILL TO HAVE THAT ONE !

    LONG LIVE THE QUEEN

    PD: nice cover :)

  • Modest. Seriously though, that's good.

  • Hey Freddie, I thought you died of AIDS. Oh well, keep up the guitar practice.

  • why are there always around 50/100 people who dislike those type of covers ??? this is stupid, if they want to hear a perfect solo, they just have to buy the van halen cd , and have fun with it, but stop hitting the dislike button when the cover sounds great!!!!

  • how comes none of you guys mentions Kramer but Ibanez and B.C....? Eddie V.H was one of the prior endorsees of Kramer Guitars also like Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) and Richie Sambora who're the greatest guitar players in my opinion.

Anyways, great play bijitbora, just admirable!!!

  • Great playing man! That must be the closest version I have seen! Rock on! :)

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome, full accurate really. Better solo cover YT !!!

  • Really awesome. Eddie started playing with a Strat... !!!!!

  • wait: I can't do things like that, and I have a squier. so you put on that guitar a specific magnet for use tapped armonic. maybe not...

  • @toobuku76 capitalism? what are you talking about? this is a guitar video.

  • Great video, but I'd recommend getting a better guitar! You'll produce a much better sound with some decent pup's and all round better guitar. Please tell me your not one of those people who believe Gibson and Fender are the greatest guitars ever. Truth is, they are great guitars, no doubt! However, there are plenty of other makes that produce far better guitars. Ibanez, ESP, BC Rich(mostly metal guitars) Jackson, Cort. There are many more, these are just off the top of my head.

  • @my5thbebo > Friend, I am visiting the video after a long time. I have taken note of what you said. I have 6 different makes of guitars (Washburn, Ibanez, Fender, Greg Bennett etc), I choose the ones as per whatever I think would get my sound closest to the original choosing a careful combination of guitar, amp and processor. That's why. In this video, my Squier strat PUPs have been replaced with proper stratocaster PUPs. Thank you for your valuable suggestions anyway.

  • @bijitbora Ohh okay man, nice guitars, washburn are very good :) Nice to see you have good knowledge of guitars, all the best my friend. :)

  • @my5thbebo dude, get your head out of your ass, sure, there are great guitar makers, but gibson and fender is the first class guitars, theire standards is way better then anyone, you cant match up a gibson with an ibanez, trust me, i know what im talking about, ive played with a bunch of different guitars, and no one matches up with my own gibson les paul studio. so i have prooved to my self that gibson is the thing for me, tho i dont know what you prefer, but thats my opinion :D

  • @Thunder666number Firstly my head is not in my ass. It's a known fact that when you buy Gibson or Fender your buying the name, that's not myth,, that's fact my friend. They are good guitars, great guitars even, I don't question that. But seriously, you don't think Ibanez are good quality? Maybe you played a lower grade one, they have the best standards for guitars worldwide, so that was a bit silly of you. Obviously it's your own opinion, but that's how I feel, peace.

  • @my5thbebo no i dont think that ibanez is a good guitar, becouse when i play on my gibson, its so much easier. the fingerboard is so much smoother on gibson, i get the feel of the ibanez beiing a bit rough, and it was a kinda high standard on the guitar, but i dont know where to find all the facts, this is onley our opinions, so i take back that fender and gibson have the best standard, but i think the gibson has the most fitting standard for me, soo... peace

  • I love this, great on the playing, and on a damn Squier of all things!!! I always though EVH played some of his best stuff on a strat, so this may be one more cred to my hypothesis!

  • @my5thbebo Some Ibanez are a bunch of cheap pot metal and poopy wood. ESP makes some good stuff, but some of it is also fire wood. BC Rich is completely heavy metal, way to hot for VH tone, Jackson is owned by Fender, and has different makes and models. Cort I have no experience with as no one around here has any. Gibson makes some high dollar trash and Fender does as well. The point is, the "Brand" is not how it's juged, it's by each guitar's features and tone.

  • @my5thbebo lol true but u have to admit that is excellent for a squier

  • @my5thbebo Dude, different guitars are good for different things. . . an ESP with active pups will not get close to a hendrix sound compared to a reissue strat. An Ibanez RG style guitar will not get close to a bluesy sound. . . different guitars for different sounds.

  • @MrPocketGuitar You don't see what I'm saying at all. Yes I agree different guitars are better for different styles, obviously. What I said was I hoped this man wasn't the kind of person who believes Gibson and Fender are the greatest guitars ever made. There are much better.

  • @my5thbebo Well in my opinion no one has made better guitars than Fender or Gibson for blues oriented stuff. . .there are better guitars FOR metal though . . .

  • @MrPocketGuitar

Oh I don't know about that... My RG does a pretty good Texas Flood with the coil tap on the go..

  • @my5thbebo you think Cort makes a good guitar ??? I had a Cort , the body looked like it was made out of beutifull wood (Clear Finish) , When I took the Pickups out one day to change them , in search of a better sound, I found out the body was made out of Laminated Plywood with a false veneer finish on the outside !!!! Saying that Cort is a good guitar is like calling a Yugo a great car. Want a good guitar, get a Guild, they all play like butter.

  • @bigrigJim I suppose all guitar makes have Lower end models. I have an EVL K6, beautiful guitar, soldid mahogony neck-thru finish, EMG HZ-H4 came stock but I changed them for Dimarzio actives a while back and it was actual wood. I guess it just depends really. :)

  • @my5thbebo Micheal Kelly's are awesome guitars and they aren't extremely expensive

  • @sreynoldsbros2 Yeah I never seen one in person, Ireland has a terrible taste in guitars I'm afraid :(

  • @my5thbebo o i just got a used one and i have been using for like two weeks and a regular guitar would hav broken a long time ago but it is made amazingly and still feels like new and my dad used to hav a les paul and said that the micheal kelly was the same just for a les paul you just pay for the name you should look online for used ones cuz they are just as good just cheaper

  • @my5thbebo i can do a Review of it if you want me to and you can go online and see if you want one

  • @my5thbebo ibanez esp and bc rich and jackson are not made for the same purpose as fender and gibson.... your comparing apples and oranges... there is not one guitar or guitar company that tailors to every players need or every genre of music.. ibanez is not better quality than any of those other brands btw

  • @my5thbebo I agree with you on everything besides the BC rich. Bc Rich are the worst guitars ever!!!!!! No BC Rich will beat any gibson or fender ever.

  • @mrflip321go Really? I've only heard good things about them, but I guess I'd have to see properly for myself!

  • @my5thbebo You stupid prick, you really think the guitar will make a damn difference to how it sounds? You probably own a horrendously shit amplifier and live in ignorance thinking throwing as many pedals infront of it and changing the pups will improve the sound.

  • @MansoorDorp You do realize how musically disabled you made yourself sound yeah? Of course the guitar makes it sounds better? What's wrong with you? Honestly?? So what you're basically saying is an crappy bolt-on SX strat would produce the same sound as real Fender Strat? My word, you are so uneducated if you believe that. I don't own a crappy amp and don't actually have many pedals either, I'm just saying a lot of people believe that Gibson/Fender make the best guitars, which is wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • @my5thbebo Way to completely miss my point moron. Stop being such a snob about guitars because really they hardly make a difference as much as the actual amp itself when it comes to shaping your sound. There is nothing wrong with squier guitars whatsoever, believe it or not but the guitar companies you mentioned are capable of making complete shit too. Yeah gibson have a terrible track record with build quality and you are literally paying for the name, but what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @MansoorDorp I'm sorry but how did I miss your point? That was your whole point? I'm not being a snob about guitar, at all actually, as most of the brands I said are cheaper than a real Gibson or Fender, so if you think that makes me a snob, sort yourself out. All I said was that there is a common misunderstanding that people have in which they believe Gibson and Fender make the best guitars, which is a lie. There are plenty of other makes that do the same quality at a fraction of the price.

  • @MansoorDorp If you think that most of your tone comes from the amp itself your really, really retarded. Ever hear of pick-ups? Let me break it down for you.. PICK UPS! As in the pick up the sound. Stock pick ups from a crap guitar give terrible sound. Getting decent pick ups(Dimarzio/EMG) give great tone and sustain, with high outputs, if needed. As for the guitar, if you want any kind of sustain, you need at least a set neck, neck-thru if possible, so saying the amp shapes the sound is stupid.

  • @my5thbebo Kiddo, a cheap guitar with a good amp far outweighs a shitty amp with a good guitar.

  • @MansoorDorp To be honest, I can agree with you there. But at the same time, saying all that matters is the amp is a ridiculous accusation. If you can only afford one or the other, I'd get a decent tube amp. That doesn't mean that a crappy guitar is okay to use to, because it's no, if you wanna gig/make a living outta your music.

  • @my5thbebo A tube amp will give you far more sustain than a solid state amp, which is why he was stating that. Also, a bolt-on neck lends itself to more sustain, studies have shown. The main things that affect sustain are the break angles at the bridge and nut, and magnet pull. If you use high output pickups you run the risk of losing sustain from the pickup's magnet pulling the string ever so slightly. All in all though, the amp shapes the sound.

  • you know you are asking for trouble when you write "100%" accurate. Come on.

  • I modded my squire to be a bit more like EVH's frankenstrat from Van Halen 1...

  • omg! you just got 5 gold stars!

  • Jesus, why are so many douche bags giving this guy a hard time? Looks like he can play damn well to me...you think you can better? Post a f*cking video of you doing so before you start slagging others off for their efforts. Idiots.

  • @chuckst0nes because other people are jealous and love to shoot down people's ego

  • Haha I'v played with that guitar! :D Good guitar.

  • good job though if there isnt

  • the only reason it says %100 is because u got eddies guitar covering up ur mistakes in the background

  • if its real you fucking rock if it is fake get a life

  • @tonyhighflyer911 you are suck an idiot

  • Dude i have the same Squier! BTW nice job.

  • Nice T-Shirt :D

  • to be fair, it does... kinda sould like...he just turned up the radio and pretended to play, sure that probably not what happened, but... ya know.

  • is that an squier affinity?

  • Caaaaara, vc faz isso com uma Squier ? Eu tenho a 2° Squier fabricada no MUNDO, hehehehe

Qual é o n° de série da sua ? e Parabéns belo Solo, abraço

  • It's not fake you bunch of tools. He is playing this note for note.... there is no reason for anyone to "dislike" this vid unless you're just jealous. Nice job man.

  • @12jburnard12 Thanks man!

  • I love the QUEEN T-shirt! You have great taste in music.

  • like so many said, this is far from 100% correct. For me, besides some of the notes, the timing is terrible. His playing is behind the beat on most of the solo.

  • why do i think this is FAKE!...maybe the finger move in a differend speed? mayde the picking is not correct?...i see if this is reall....do it on better quality...

  • plug your guitar in and play along with a backing track

  • of course it sounds 100% correct if you have the actual song playing almost as loud as your guitar.

  • dude whats up with the squire??

  • On :03 and on the replay at :19. Ya missed somethin bud. haha Listen to that part of the real solo at about 2:19(I did about zillion times) Its awesome , its just not "100% accurate".

  • holy shit bro that was amazing. btw nice shirt !

  • Rob Schneider!!!!!!!!!

  • So, Lars Ulrich can play the guitar.

  • Man this is great!

But the title is a little big headed....

  • One thing about the Jump solo videos that I have seen is that they drag quite often. You have very good timing.

  • OOO shit how do you do that?! O.O!!

  • i don't doubt you play this very well but... having ur volume at the same level as the actual song, it makes it difficult to tell if ur actually paying along with it or kind of faking it.

  • you look crazy

  • erm ok, great, but if it wasn't close enough to 100% accurate, there wouldn't really be much point in posting this video, so er, not much point in that part of the title

  • not 100% but 99.9 ure pitch harmonics at 0:20 are harmonics. ure supposed to play pitch harmonics by the middle pickup, but besides that pretty good.

  • Very nice job......but lose the Queen shirt and put on a Roth Halen shirt instead

  • @Hunkola you give roth too much credit. he deserves none. if vh didn't exist, and you saw dlr on the street or in a bar, you would assume he was some annoying fuckin guy that also happened to be gay

  • @joeglimmix -- Sir Diamond Lee owns you, bitch.......he put all the swagger into Van Halen.......without him, they would have been a pussy shit band.......well that's what they were with Sammy Hagar

  • @Hunkola you just said that van halen would be a 'pussy shit band' without dlr. that is that gayest shit i have ever heard. it means you don't care that they have one of the best rock guitarists ever, you only like them because you can fantasize about some homo dancing around on stage in tights. you are a disgrace. what turned you on the most, when he jumped and spread his legs?

  • @joeglimmix -- Joe Satriani and Steve Vai are great rock guitarists too but they didnt have six multi-platinum albums and six sold-out world tours like Roth Van Halen did from 1978 to 1984.......David Lee Roth made the music fun and bad ass.......too bad Hagar buttplugs like you are SO JEALOUS and BITTER

  • waah that totaly was it,wouldn't have recognised it from the original

  • same exact guitar as me man nice job mine has the same great one too

  • WHITE SQUIERS AND GREAT TONE AND GREAT PLAYING! what more can anyone ask for?

  • @MrWhiteSquier

    Mh, for example a Fender

  • @hendrikh0807 who needs a Fender when a great sounding Squier is 300 bucks

  • suh-weeet

  • Fake.

  • @TheChuckNorris1997

i went to ur page and look at ur videos and hmm..someones a hhhaaatter

  • @aint2shaggy what do you mean i'm a hater?

  • this is my own version of jump by eddie van halen this is the keyword on youtube "leeshadbest" thanx

  • damn, this guy knows how to make a squier sound good.

  • Very GOOD...but tone is lacking..okay technique has nothing to do with tone dog..sorry. Someone who plays as good as you needs a REAL guitar.

  • Hey I have the same Queen shirt as you, Queen Rule !! btw that sounded bloody awsome & sounded pretty dam accurate to me well played man !!!!!!!

  • and these sell for 99.99 new off amazon.com well then new guitar here i come

  • hey it was good, but i t seems too fast...weird, i play it at the same speed and my hands dont seem that fast.....or may be its just me....

  • Muy rapido... no se aprecia!

  • very awsome man need to have u give me some lessons lol.

  • i love the way you tap. My guitar teacher tells me to use my middle finger, but i find that gripping onto the neck with your other fingers and useing the index is better :]

  • awsome cover :D :D :D

    very skilled fingers!

    i have a squier, but it's really rubbish :(

just one bend on the high E or B strings puts it out of tune :/

  • Love the shirt!!!!

    And awesome playing as well!!

  • might not be fakebut im sure u didnt used a backing track u fucked up some parts and the original track backed u up so 2/5 Have a nice day sir

  • A squire ???????

  • @a64tbird squier ia great guitar beginers but , this man are great guitar player i'm pretty sure he chance the PU humebuckers or something a squier of 99 dollar can't sound like that anyway sound good

  • Thumbs up for the Queen shirt.

  • he should of whammyed at the end lol

  • @weemadatif2k7 true

  • nice squier

  • lmao! thats rich!

  • @niallrothery lol asshole XD

  • @niallrothery I don't know a lot about squier but maybe it is the JV version from Japan. Those are good.... Really good.

  • hey bijit apuni asomia niki/?

  • That sounded great!

  • WOOOOOOOW!!!!!

  • squires can sound as good as ANY guitar,as long as you change the PU's!! my squire cost $99. i changed the PU's and it sounds as good as ANY $500 guitar or more!! great playing man!

  • I have to learn this song for a cover project and I was dreading having to figure out the solo by ear. Thanks for posting, you saved me hours of work.

  • good tapin

    =)

  • why squier?

  • Would like to hear with the track off or turned way down at least.
