  • Has he got any famous song except this ???

  • Awesome,,,,,34 years old.

  • I saw this video on a big screen at Bowling archade in Sydney..

  • He was also ahead of his time in that outfit! LOL! The was 1977 and that looks like crap we had in the early 80's. Looks like a version of a pink Michael Jackson jacket. However leather pants were HOT - I mean as in temperature! I hated them. You stuck to them unless they were lined.

  • I didn't know it wasn't him singing! And looking at the other guy, yeah - they definitely needed a pretty boy to front it. I remember this song well! Every gay boy had a big crush on him. LOL! This was before MTV but I do remember that video. Seems like it was on some other late night music show and also on Saturday morning kids music shows. Haven't seen this video since it came out! Thank you!

  • Well, "Jet Boy Jet Girl" is the original version of the song.

  • @ZLUGGO No this is the original. "Jet Boy, Jet Girl" has the same backing track as the original Plastic Bertrand's/Lou Deprijck "Ça Plane Pour Moi". A few months before "Ca plane pour moi" was recorded, the record firm used the same masters with the same musicians to edit "Jet Boy, Jet Girl". Alan Ward recorded his adaption in English. Yvan Lacomblez had written the lyrics in French.

  • @luckyandhardheaded

Well, I have been in touch with Elton Motello in person. And he told me the whole story. The truth and nothing but the truth, straight from the horse's mouth. "Ca Plane Pour Moi" emerged after "Jet Boy Jet Girl" and was the French version of the X-rated Motello tune. Roger Jouret (Plastic Bertrand) used to be Motello's drummer. Plastic used Motello's backing track.
