  • Kissing88 no no it's the other way it's just like a 12 hole with 1 extra chamber

  • is it just me, or are all these ocarina's very flat when they get higher?

  • @justinmiley180 It's very difficult to get the vibrating tone without a lot of practice, and to get the perfect pitch at such high notes is even more difficult. It will come with a lot of practice, and these are older videos.

  • Hey...now I know how I can finally play it..just need to buy a triple oc..lol

  • i almost fell asleep to this like zelda dose in the game its from

  • omg dude 2 days and it sounds exactly like it did in the game? holy shit

  • I like this a lot.. Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite past times. :D

Do u know a good place online that has free shipping and pretty cheap prices for a orcarina. I've been looking around for about a month now. lol

  • @UnicornsEATlollipops You probably won't find free shipping.

But goto my channel. I have some notable ocarina companies listed on my site.

    I recommend Songbird/Focalink highly :)

  • @kissing88 Alright Thankyou... I'll be sure to check them out,

And so you know your songbird link isnt working but i'll try to figure it out lol

  • @UnicornsEATlollipops i fixed the link now :)

  • @kissing88 Thankyou! I checked it out and i think im gunna order a triple ocarina...:D Now i gotta save up.. lol

  • @UnicornsEATlollipops Wow, Triple ocarina!

That's a very big committment to a first ocarina.

But I wholeheartedly support it as long as you're ready to face some big challenges and are willing to spend time learning and practicing.

Most people start on a regular ocarina, then move up to a Triple. But that is completely your choice, You can start on a triple if you want :) A bold choice!

  • @kissing88

Thankyou! Is the difference that the triple is more complex and harder to begin with,

and the simple ocarina is only maybe one chamber?

Either way yeah i will be committed and very. :)

I like challenges so hopefully i suceed, a little nervous. lol

  • @UnicornsEATlollipops

Well, I don't think a triple ocarina is more harder to play than a normal ocarina.

How it works is.. it's like 3 ocarinas joined together, so there are 3 holes to blow into.

So the first chamber is like a normal single chamber ocarina, and the other 2 are extra chambers that give you more notes. When you first start, you will probably mostly play the first chamber and ignore the other 2 chambers until you need them later, so the difficulty is probably the same.

  • @kissing88 Alright,

So if i stay in the first chamber it'll be like using the other single ocarina.

Lol Can't wait to get one..

  • is a triple necessary or can it be done on a double sop-g in its original key

  • @fatitalianplumber It's easier to play it in its original key on a double Sop-G

  • Most perfect person.

  • Is the triple Ocarina needed to play the whole song? or could you use a Double??

  • @varguitasdna depends on what key you play it in.

In a lower key, you can play it on a Double with different fingerings

  • That's how it should be... I have a regular 12 hole, and I'm annoyed that I can't play the whole song. I'm planning to get a triple sometime, but for now I'll keep playing what I can =)

  • impressive =)

  • how much did that cost? I saw one online for like $335 but thats too much for me...

  • @laxsplash1993 the retail price is$ 400

  • still a fave!that song has always been a fave.u hear it once n nxt time u hear it u kno wat it is...i love it

  • i love this so much

  • yes

  • you r the best at the triple ocarina

  • I don't like to be mean... but ouch at :56...

  • you mean :46

  • lol...

  • @MetalChickenStudios I have to agree. But for 2 days with a triple ocarina, that's AWESOME! Keep up the good work :)

  • @inuyome1008 not that it was bad... but it really sounded like it hurt. I'd likely go tense at the neck trying to hit that note if I even tried.

  • this is awesommmmmmmme!!! only 2 days?!

  • well i only had it for 2 days at the time of recording -o-

  • what did

pacopanda95 say that was soo bad

  • omg <3

  • um, yes, obviously since thats a backtrack

  • what key is ur orch?

I prefer the alto personally, sensitive hearing and all.

I so want to get the ones u can wear around ur neck!

  • this is a triple alto C.

  • Orch? What is an orch? This is an ocarina.

  • 2days!!?? youre one hell of a fast learner then cuz it sounded awesome to me

  • What are ocarinas made of? Plastic? They seem similar to clarinets. Kind of.

  • most are made of clay.

some are wood. some are plastic. some are metal.

    This one is clay ^^

  • How in the heck does that make any sense at all? I mean really just read that comment yeesh.

  • yeesh !

  • sorry i can kinda get a little angry. I just hate spam. a lot

  • sexy playing bro

  • is a triple ocarina basiclly three ocarinas of diffrent octaves put together, so they have three seperate blow holes to each part?

  • yes

  • hello do u have this song in numerucal tabs ??? for a 8-hole ocarina ?

  • unfortunately i do not ;-(

  • wow that was good!

  • how do u get the ocarina

  • I opened a treasure chest, and there it was!

    (kidding).

Nah, you buy them from ocarina sellers online obviously, lol.

There are links at my channel ^^

  • If it's possible I would have slurred more in this song and combined the notes more.

  • its a little tougher to do on double and triple ocarinas

but that woulda been nice to hear hehe

  • edited midi files.

A lot of the sheet music at TON comes with the background music included ;)

  • Yo, JennieO from Ocarina Network:

Just watching you play this song in sync to the real melody, makes me wonder if the Ocarina of Time really is a triple ocarina instead of the regular nine hole as show in the art work =P

  • wow that was a high note.

  • sounds more like you have had it for years

  • Sounds pretty good to me, nice to hear the real full range of the song.

  • this song is great... i've always liked Zelda's Lullaby..

  • after only 2 days its really nice played..

  • nice job but some of the high notes are kinda squeaky

  • lol thanks.

I recorded this 2 days after getting the ocarina.

Takes more than 2 days to play a Triple ocarina properly ;)

  • I call this a good ocarina player...

  • its called feeling the music.

  • best on youtube. i salute you!

  • ive got a 12 hole tenor ocarina n love this song but cannot find a tab for the bit at 34 seconds. any help?

  • It goes outta the 12 hole range...

You need at least a double to do it properly

  • not at all!

my 4 hole songbird can easily go into that range!

  • You won't be able to play the full song on a pendant.

You might be able to play those notes, but then you wouldn't be able to play the lower notes as a pendant (except the Double WPN Pendant, which might be able to play this) does not have a large enough range.

  • no, it really can't.

  • its so beautiful

  • nah don't worry bout it ur still good at it ^^

  • I love this song..I actually listen to this when i go to sleep sometimes..so beautiful..

  • nice dude

  • I like the way you carry the notes on and most of the notes of connected nicely :) Best i've seen on youtube defiantly.

  • that's good, but i saw a girl play that exact piece on her hand. That's style :D

  • linx NAO

  • wow!!!!AWESOME!!!!!!!U ROCK!!!

  • Damn, that worked so well I nearly fell asleep :) Awesome playing!

  • I thought you sounded great, don't need too much more practice

  • I think you sounded great. You don't need to much practice with that song to make it perfect.

  • okey... I have to admit... didn't check the video response before I posted this. I just compared this to the original on the N64 game.. but yea it was pretty awesome, but to make it as good as your friend, you need practise, but you will be able to. That I'm sure of :-)

  • Actually, I think Zelda's Lullaby is quite a hard song to get right!

I still need more practice to make it sound anywhere near "perfect". xD

  • yea... I didn't actually think it could be that hard... if you have watched my videos... then you see easy songs to play... since I am so little experienced with ocarinas, I have just played easy to play songs. It sound much better with easy songs that I actually get right, then if I was playing a hard melody and got almost nothing right.

I did make a new song yesterday, but I'm not sure if that is in english, at least I don't know the English titl. The Norwegian title is "Lisa gikk til skolen"

  • so is Saria's song...

  • There are 2 notes that are constantly flat. I see that it's not your fault. But why is it like that? The highest one I think the ocarina just doesn't have so you try to bend the pitch. But how about the lower one? Many ocarinas have that problem and it's hard to control :/ That must really suck. Those notes razored through my ears, lol. But overall, yes, that sounded very nice.

  • I only had the this ocarina for 2 days when I recorded it, so that's probably why!

I hadn't adjusted to it yet.

  • O, alright, no problem dude. Just mentioning...

  • O.O guau q excelente tocas la ocarina y es en verdad un gran gusto el escucharte muchas felicidades por tu trabajo!!!!!!!! =3

  • Gracias =D

  • O.o You did THAT after only two days?! Dude, you're one of the best ocarinists I've ever seen. The only notes that needed work were the really high ones, and you've worked it out. You're like an ocarina-playing GOD!

  • Aww thank you... I'm so flattered =D

  • wow! nice =) ur awesome =O the sound is pretty good!

  • haha, thank you.

I recorded this just after I got the triple ocarina for the first time, so it's not that good. But thanks for complimenting ^_^

  • Hey =)

    Good job!

    It sounds really great!

    5/5* =)

    I love it!

  • aww thank you =D

I hope to do a much better version in the future ^_^

  • pretty cool, the must accurate i've seen or heard XD around youtube.

  • It sounds so nice, you play so good! <3

  • Aww thank you *blush*

  • Good job.

  • That was amazing, great work!

Would you consider yourself a pro?

  • Thank you for the compliment, you flatter me.

I am FAR from being a pro. I am actually just a beginner who started the ocarina just few months ago ^_^

But I play for enjoyment as a hobby ^_^

  • You could've fooled me :)

  • wow, I wish I could learn how to play from you lol how did you learn to play so well? and that ocarina is insane

  • Hey~

    Do you have an ocarina?

  • *nod* yep, I do. 4 holes, one thumb hole. and I can barely play that XD;

  • lol, I generally play 12-hole ocarinas. If you're finding the 4-hole a bit boring, try a 12-hole. I have some recommendations on my channel info if you're interested.

  • I'd love to, believe me, only thing is I don't have much money >>;; I really want the extended range ocarina of time from songbird ocarinas, but I can't afford it v_v

  • You might actually find the 12-hole ocarina easier than the one you have now ;-)

  • huh.. either way I still can't afford either one of them XD

  • me,i do

  • What ocarina do you have =D?

  • me,i do

  • Really nice. Sounds like the game :D

  • Now THAT'S how Zelda's Lullaby's supposed to be played!

I wish I could give more than five stars

  • i wish i could get a triple ocarina, but i dont have the cash XD

  • You can get yourself a good ocarina anyway, not necessarily a triple :-)

  • Could you please send me some Zelda backgrounds?

  • Message me if you're interested :-)

  • Awsome! That's how it's intended to sound! Nicely played one of your bests! I really need a double or triple..XD where do u find the backtracks?

  • Thanks!

Backtracks are midi files that have been edited using midi-edit programs. I used Finale Notepad. Message if you want more details :-D

  • nice. I Seem to Play itat Twice the Speed

  • I played it a bit slow, since its "lullaby" lolss.

I can send you the backtrack for it if you're interested~

  • Why did you play it so high? It doesn't need 3 octaves.

  • The version I just played is the original Zelda's Lullaby in the key that Kojo Kondo composed it in.

You need either a Triple ocarina or a Double Soprano G ocarina to play it in this key.

  • Boy, do I want a triple. You did great!

  • Thanks Tycoon :-D

I hope to return to Ocarinas United soon once all the trouble gets fixed up.

  • Yeah, I heard about some ofthe things that were going on. I'm on neutral side. But, you are very intelligent and well-read. I'd like for your return.

  • Great job! Sounds amazing!

  • ooooh, this is totally the best version on ocarina!

  • man this song would be great for my talent show you think you can hook me up with the sheet haha yeah but message me later like you said you would

  • But you would have to tell me which ocarina you have first lol.

The ocarinas I've been using are Double and Triple ocarinas, which play more notes than an ordinary ocarina.

  • nice dude... can i get the tabs of the extended part? cuz i have a 9 hole zelda ocarina from saint louis and the book has the shortest version of this song.

  • lolz! the triple ocarina's sound so nice!

  • Epic, nice job sir!

  • cool you got your triple

  • nice job. loved this song in Oot

  • nice stuff, keep it up.

  • goddamn you're good

  • Thats Really Good! Especially only after playing for 2 days and the tone on that is still amazing, while I do agree that the Single has better tone, the triple has a very clean sound!

  • Thanks.

It will take me a while to be able to control the tone. It can sound much more beautiful than this :-O

  • *drools* oh i want one soooooooo bad!

  • that was perfect :D

  • I want one T.T

  • great job... hitting that highest note is realy hard xD

  • I dream of hitting that high note. :(

    Nice work!

  • Well done sir!
