This is absurd. I actually came across this video because I bought shoes and I was intrigued by the Nike + iPod thingy.
I must, however, say that this is becoming silly. The dependence on technology is becoming so exaggerated. I mean, do we really need a piece of technology to tell us when to get tired? Or when to work out? Do we need to see charts of our performances.
I mean come on, they spend lots of money on advertising because they know it wouldn't sell otherwise.
i am a regular texas marathoner. I recently got a ipod nano and the nike plus this christmas. Ive used it in my last two marathons and in my training. Nike and Apple hit a homerun with this product. Ive showed several of my running friends this product and let them use mine...and their reaction...just like mine was....this is great. So i agree with what cnbc commentator said. Its great for the hard core runners as well as the everyday person.

the shoes were $110, Nike Plus Air Max 180, but you can get ones that are about $85 or buy a kit online for about $10 that lets you strap it to your laces. (you'll have to calibrate the sensor if you do this)
Thats awesome. If I were a runner, I'd be all over it. Hopefully they integrate something like this into biking, that'd be pretty sweet (although I don't know if there is anything on the market ATM that does this for bikes).

buy additional heart monitor 2 check visually.
im still go gonna 2 the gym with this, but i think it will help joggers get so much more out if there workout!

You don't need the shoes. Just put the small Nike thing in your laces, should work just as well.
