  • Amo l'Italia!

  • Awesome city.

    I've been there.

Even though the city composed by canals and similar looking buildings, the visit is worth a while, as long as you have legs.

  • we,Romanians, have conquered Italy..There are 4 millions of Romanians settled in Italy..

    Italy belongs to Romanians..hahaha

Soon,my people will kill al the italians and we all will move to Italy.

    yeah...

we will change the name of your country...Your country will be named Romania 2 !

Thats because you allowed us to enter your country,to work there,to live there..now,there are even romanian Mayors in small italian cities.soon, the president of Italy will be from Romania..

i cant wait to rule Italy

  • They have a really nice book store on porn, in the middle of the Isle, Venice is kinky, very open minded, next time I go, I will run naked in the streets with the locals, The wife and I were too shy the first go around, Venice is dark at night, and kinky.....

  • Sitting quietly doing nothing. Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself. Nice.

  • @IlRezzonico Definitely not much grass growing in Venice :)

  • durante la navigazione la brezza accarezza il viso e la malinconia riempie il tuo essere

  • Is sad to see americans writing only "assassin creed" and forgetting the millenarian sea republic...

  • @Antralian Please don't just blame Americans, it only makes you look ignorant.

  • @6580006247....internet troll. Trolling is gay as fuck. Therefore you are probably gay and should be the one being called a fag.

  • very relaxing video

  • Wow amazing video! It was really relaxig to watch it, thanks for uploading!

  • It was one of the most amazing places i have been in my life, i met such an amazing girl on that trip, we shared a Gondola.

  • It's wonderful and it looks like a painting, but it's real, wonderful city

  • soooo relaxing.

  • Not much traffic.....

I want to see Venice someday. Just like all Assassin's Creed 2 owners lol.

  • i wish my country is like this

  • my friend was there and he told me it was beautiful but the smell was.......... like dead fish !

  • @Soulless941

It depends on the days really, sometimes is bad, especially in the hottest days of the summer, sometimes you don't notice anything.

  • hey guys, let's not start a nationalistic dispute here. the title says "relaxing video" not "full blown political debate" lol

  • @francyube Are you crazy? You are a fool to condem ALL of us because of the action of one or two crazy people who have shot others. The death penalty---you are sadly mistaken. They are NOT innocent. WHERE do you get your info? Check other sources before condeming the US for anything. You are hearing the news from one side. There are two sides to every story. A little wisdom, please.

I have been to Venice and LOVE it there!!!!!! God will Judge mel. Please, don't judge me.

  • i love venice!

  • Please don't let Venice disappear under water before I go there~>.<

  • @francyube are you kidding? America is INFERIOR to Italy.. America itself is just a fake carbon copy of Greco-Roman ideals....

you dont need to apologize or reason with idiots....If not for the glory of Rome and Italy in general...America would NOT exist today...neither would half of western and northern europe!

    Greco-Roman >>> everything else

  • @mrtundra45 Thank God I was born here in the US. Have been all over and would't live ANYWHERE else!!! ;-)

  • @1Deborah1111 your welcome, from an italian, we made the usa possible ;-)))

  • @mrtundra45 I understand that Europeans want, maybe need recognition for their contributions to America. Many, many Americans, myself included, have European ties. Thank you for your help and peace to you.

  • @bwild61 I dont think Europeans want recognition....most educated people allready Understand the impact on Italy Greece France on the Western World today...heck it was even Italians who discovered America! Heck even American is Named After an Italians Amerigo Vespuci...Heck i gould go on forever and im American. lmao I just think its pathetic how people talk bad about Italians in general when Italians live in probably the most Cultured and Historically rich and Impacted nation in the world

  • @mrtundra45 Thank you for your feedback. I hope that one day all people can live in peace and respect one another. Take care.

  • @bwild61 I hope so to. thnx

  • Yawn...thanks for the nap.

  • What a wonderful place isn't it? Wonders are infinite that's why it is wonderful...

  • 19 people can't swim.

  • @francyube sorry about that if you dont want people writing you I suggest you delete your comment

  • @francyube I think you know that that is grossly unfair stereotypes. It is the equivalent of calling every italian a loud, obnoxious, drunk, that tries to get everyone in bed. Usually only a hand full of people actually prove stereotypes correct. Sorry you have had bad experiences with tourists. I will be going to venice in april and am very excited but a little worried about the anti-american sentiment.

  • QUE LADILLA

  • @francyube to be honest you say it yourself. i used to despice all of america. until i learnt it's just like the rest of the world. not everyone that lives there is a gun toting murderer. there are plenty of people there that still uphold the values that made the country so desirable in the first place. don't hate the people. hate the system that governs them.

  • Hell Yeah Vegas is cool but if you want to unlockuriphone goto w w w unlockiphone4-now com

  • I've been there alot...in assassins creed II

  • ItAlY iS mY dReaM pLaCe to vIsiT

  • @francyube Well said, francyube, and that has become the Venezia I love & wish for. I look forward to the off-season and wandering aimlessly and listening to everything including the bells of the campaniles and the smell of fallen leaves under foot in S. Elena, a nice walk and lunch on Burano, Interpreti Veneziani in Chiesa San Vidal, standing with eyes closed in the evening almost any place except Ferrovia! Taking in the quiet sounds as much as possible. It is the best tonic for happiness.

  • @francyube Hi from New York. American born and of Italian descent (Genova e Sicilia), I count my blessings to have visited Italia so many times and this next visit to bella Venezia (22-28 December) with be my 18th, having been there at age 13 when it found its way to my heart in 1969 and each decade after that so 2010 marks my 6th decade to come and visit and be enveloped in its beauty and mystery. Such an impossibly lovely city you have, I express my happiest envy. Auguri!

  • talking about fat americans..

i heard ppl at venice r healthy and not obese

  • does anyone know the name of the "tango?" at 0:22 onwards on the video responses to this "Italy Venice piazza san marco"

Any ideas would be much appreciated!!

    Thanks

  • this reminds me of Porco Rosso lol

  • ooooo solomiooooooo......

  • @francyube ok, well, i read that and got kinda angry too, so i guess were the same. my thing is, i go to a college with people from all over the world. i hear lots of people talking trash about america. i dont like it, we may be pretty crappy country in some ways, but in others were not. its our gov. mainly, not the people. which is the same for most countries. so im sry too.

  • @francyube you think racism is still here in america, but its here just like everywhere else. i dont know one racist person. we have achieved social goals too. so stop talking shit about america when you dont live here, you only read about it. you cant believe everything you read. come here and meet the people, hang out, have fun. live here a while, then make your judgement.

  • @francyube wow, you have obviously only read about america. for one, most people here hate mcdonalds, its the poor people with kids that go there cause its cheap. new york has one of the highest crime rates in america, not the highest, but one of. and people shoot each other in every country. the schools suck yes, but most people dont rely on school for what they learn they read themselves. and you have no clue who is guilty or who isn't. white people commit more crimes than blacks.

  • Questa citta ' e' meravigliosa

  • @francyube Thats good man Id love to go there one day. I thank god I live period.

  • Your all the same. And your all fucking hypocrites.

  • @francyube Sounds like someones jealous they don't live in America!

and New york is American as it gets you fucking idiot.

  • rialto bridge :D

  • Check out my channel if you want to see a film that REALLY shows you around the city of Venice!

  • it's not busy at all? I am at venice now, the grand canel is always full of boats!

  • viva la mia italia!

  • i swam in those canals

  • Hey people i'm an european too!I agree that we civilized the world and we created the modern ciivilization! The greatest quality in life both culture and economic you'll find in EuropeanUnion!WE invented and created america! From the blood and sweat of the europeans America was created! We should not argue with americans cause they're our brothers!I'm bothered by the fact that they forgot who they were and who made America great and who discovered it!EUROPEANS!That's why they hate us!WE made them!

  • @qwelle22 No actually we got our own piece of land because Europe fucking sucks. FUCK YOU EUROPEAN SALLY'S.

  • @qwelle22 Hello. No, Americans do not hate Europeans. That word...HATE, has got to go for it is used way too often. The thing is though, when Europeans say that Americans are all fat, lazy and stupid, that does not go down very well since a lot of us have European blood flowing in our veins. Current events have put Americans on edge with a short fuse. Revolution is coming to America yet again and then things will change for the better. Take care and peace always.

  • Exactly the reaction I'd expect from someone of your stature. Enjoy your day.

  • Your 'version' of the truth, perhaps. But truth, no. And the arrogance here is radiating from the cesspool that is your mouth.

Furthermore, if you don't want flack for your nonsense it would serve you well to keep your fool mouth shut.

That would at least keep the garbage contained.

  • How can someone who clearly can't be bothered to capitalize their letters preach to anyone else about a proper education?

Are you truly so self-important you believe that without the advancements of the Renaissance humanity would have never found cultural development? Perhaps you've turned a blind eye to the accomplishments of the non-western civilizations of the world.

You are an arrogant, ill-mannered boor of a child, and a testament to the negative aspects of the general public.

  • lol.... Stupid Europeans... Dont hate.

  • venice - calmness, time is passing slowly, water, it´s magic

if you´re hungry, come on by!

  • yeah iam canadian and yo stupid ass ppl this is bout a video y do u ppl care bout politics wtf u ppl are all proboly lonley and stuck at home eating cheatos and petting ur fucking kat yo kk peace

  • I sooo want to go to Venice...(just because of Assassin's Creed 2, lol XD)

  • me to man

  • bene muchas dolces casas en Venice. bellisima vista tabien

  • assassins creed 2

  • @meowcaty34 thats what brought me here XD

  • beautiful !!!!!!!! I LOVE VENICE !!!!!!!

  • Venice has fascinated me since I was a little kid. It's my goal to visit there within the next few years.

    francyube-

You accuse Americans of being so self centered and obnoxious, yet you spew nothing but hate. Most of the country voted against Bush. Reagan was a horrible president. Shootings in schools are rare. I drive a Chevy that gives a better combination of power and MPG than any car from Europe. If Italy didn't want to be bombed, they shouldn't have teamed up with Hitler.

  • How can you say that when its Europe that invents the cars.

  • I once drove my car there and it broke down , the mechanic said the engine was flooded??

  • so how do Canadians stand in this arguement? lol...wow you guys are pretty mean on here...

  • I don't see the point in water (can't walk on or do anything... no cars either) vs road (can walk on, do anything... cars too).

  • I have no Italian in my blood, that I am aware of, and yet I find Italian culture as a whole to be so magnetic for me. Venice, Rome; my boyfriend was born in Milano; Florence. It has to do, I think, with the artistic 'gifts' that Italy has given the world. And that, from each city in Italy, the arts change and vary. But yes, tourism can be a double-edged sword. When they descend on Philly, they tend to be rude and forceful.

  • My goal in life is to someday see Venice, but not to act like a tourist. There may be a gondola ride involved, but mostly I'd like to just wander around and 'blend in' to the best of my ability. Something about Venice just draws me in against her bosom. The history, the grit, the beauty existing side by side against the ruin.

  • @PandoraKyss well i was twice there and i have to tell you that 90% of people in venice are actually the tourists

  • @2505994 i guess the tourists just couldnt let go eh? if I had the money id move there too! :)

  • @2505994 We found that to be true also. Incredible place!

  • @PandoraKyss It is more wonderful than I anticipated.

  • @PandoraKyss i did that with a few mates, just wander off until no one is around, find a small cafe/restaurant etc. i dont know about bosoms but it was awesome

  • @PandoraKyss

    YOU'RE RIGHT

  • @PandoraKyss tourism is for fags.

  • @6580006247 Tourism creates economic prosperity and jobs. without it many european, asian, and latin american countries would be fucked.... same goes for many us american cities. many indistries revolve around tourism and travel.

  • @PandoraKyss right.....

  • Not all of us are like that, as I am sure you'd know; and I, personally, despise that attitude that many Americans perpetuate. The assumption that the world owes them or that everyone should speak English sickens me. In my city, Philadelphia, the tourists are just as horrid as they might be when going overseas. They expect us to cater to their every whim and are 'shocked and appalled' when we don't. Philly is known for it's 'attitude problem.'

  • obviously reading the newspaper has not helped your spelling. it's Chrysler you ding dong. sometimes being an american is embarrassing

    sorry.

beautiful video. i am looking forward to visiting venice next year.( i'm studying my Italian)

  • Alright douche-bag, thanks for your comment. Now get a life.

  • Bravo! Well said. Americans are ignorant and think they saved the world. They did not. Anyway, I agree too many tourists in Venice sadly. I visit once a year in winter, stay in Cannaregio and just hang with the few remaining local Venetians. That's the only way to enjoy the true Venice. It still has it's real magic when it's almost empty.

  • Please don't blame all of us Americans, Most of us respect other Countrys and it's people .Most of us don't think we saved the world.I have been to Venice and I love the city.Giselle.

  • how come it's so quiet? was this early morning or late evening?

  • does it snow here?

  • Yes it might snow, but very little.

  • Beautiful.

  • "Prossima fermata....Rialto Meeeeeeeeercato!"

  • I agree with Francycube ^^

  • very nice city

    from free kurdistan

  • Fiat was ruined 3 years ago because of you Italians but General Motors has saved it by giving it 2 billion dollars. That's in today's business world. And yes, we bombed Italy in WWII because you guys were our enemies. And Italy has "bombed" New York and Boston by shipping all your "mafiosi" over here in the early 19th-century.

And don't take it to personal, Tony (or Mario or whatever the hell your name is), I was just giving you a hard time.

  • I rather spend my "fucking" dollars somewhere in my country while doing something a lot more entertaining than moving through streets flooded with sewer water somewhere in Italy. Well, I can't blame the French, to be honest with you... they - along with the British - helped establish North America. And I don't care if they talk shit about us... we saved them in WWII anyways...

  • Is a living postcard, great idea! Best Regards from Tuscany (Italy)

  • one day i will go to venice and sicily

  • It's amazing how much older Venetian buildings are than Parisian buildings!

  • older and dirtier...

  • I use to swim in the Venice canals when my mum lived there lol jumping out my bedroom window

  • ....do you know whats in the canals?

  • Ye i do, its not good i dont swim in there anymore

  • people own boats not cars in this city. :)

  • Gorgeous video...and its very relaxing.

  • out of all the european countries i've been to,italy is always my favorite!! i guess because italians are just as lively as us mexicans lol.

  • I wanted to jump in and drown myself it was THAT BAD. I have been to Venice 14 times and out of all the fantastic places to shoot video you choose that........Next time throw you video camera into the Grand Canale Per Favore........

  • why not just take a picture?

  • minchia c'e' la guida toscana

  • cant watch to the end its just so boring

  • ive always wanted to go there. im in 7th grade and im learning italian. its my dream to go there. ive always wondered how deep the water was

  • i've been there it is really good!

  • Venice is the most beautiful city i have just booked my 3rd visit

  • no one ares im from llondon

  • I am definitely going there this summer for a romantic hideaway and am going to write a love story when I visit there- what a beautiful city it is and to lie in a gondola as it glides along the canals must be so ethereal and heavenly

  • it is i have been there!

  • Ethereal and heavenly, but horrendously expensive! Take a suitcase of euros with you.

  • Thank you yes I know- one of my friends has a brother who lives there and she told me it is very expensive but then I found Geneva [Switzerland] to be expensive too. Thanks for sharing and letting me know. I may only go later in the year anyway as too many things are happening in my life at the moment so am rescheduling my plans.

  • i wanna go there so bad!

  • yes.. this summer we shall go to Venice, me third time my husband first time!

    Venetzia e sempre cozi bella!

  • I lived in Italy for 4 years, and I always found something new in Venice everytime I went. It was so beautiful at night.

  • just love it ... :)

  • BEAUTIFUL, I Love This Place

  • I'm from New Orleans and after experiencing Hurricane Katrina, Venice doesn't really impress me that much anymore... =(

  • The difference is Venice was built around all the water, New Orleans wasn't.

  • Ok, so you're basically saying that the causes are different but that the effect is the same. I'm looking at the effects and not the causes. And, according to that, Venice is just like New Orleans in a bad flood moment.

  • Only ignorants or superficial men could compare Venice with New Orleans. Move your fat ass out of the States, and find out with your own eyes the reason why starting from the middle age up to the beginning of 19th century Venice has been the most visited and influent city in the western world. Get a culture man

  • I heard Venice smells like ass, and that Italians act like monkeys (using stupid gestures to talk). I rather just go to Las Vegas and visit the hotel/casinos modeled after Italy (Venetian, Belaggio, etc). They even have hotels that look just like Paris, New York, Africa... Heck, you can see the entire world just by going to Vegas. My money stays in America, buddy.

  • As you said you live in a fake world where everything is a copy, a wanna be European.

For what concerns your b-movies sterotypes, here the stinky monkey is you, most of Americans don't even know where Europe is on a map, are homeless or weigh like a cow, it is the most ignorant and fat country in the world.

If you walk outside you get killed by psycos or by the police. And then take a look at how americans move their hands like hip-hop negroes, hahha don't make me laugh, get a culture instead.

  • True... we suck... However, we still saved Europe (and the world) in WW2. So, if the fat, homeless, ignorant Americans save the Europeans whenever they screw things up, that means Europeans are even worse than us. Yes, we are the creators of b-movies AND Internet, the personal computer, and YouTube which you're using to entertain yourself. LOL... what a loser... We're more developed then you are, both culturally and socially. For instance, the "N-word" has been banned in our country long ago. =)

  • Intenet, especially the protocol transmission has been developed by the CERN of Geneve, The first magnetic card for data recording (computer prototype) has been invented by italian "Olivetti", and if you use these comunications today is just because of the invention of the telephone by the italian "meucci" and the radio by Marconi (not Tesla as the Us propaganda wants us to believe without any prove...). Cinema? Mostly you copied the italian style of Fellini, Visconti, Antonioni, Rosellini

  • We are still world leaders in Art, culture and style this is the reason why Italy has always been (may be not in the last few years) the most visited country in the world for centuries, this is an uncontrovertible truth, just study (I know it's a big effort for you). This is the main reason why the western world is so envy and try to destroy our image with false propaganda especially through Hollywood and Murdock's medias...with ridiculous stereotypes. Shame on you

  • perché non faccia chiudete la vostra femmina gaia della bocca dell'asino

  • I would never leave my wonderful country, I just love it and I love my work of Art history teacher, a lot of people from all Europe and especially from the US come to me in order to learn some real history everyday, who do you think you are talking to? Tony? We are not in the "Soprano's" we are in real life man, wake up

  • Sure... Internet, telephone, radio, space shuttles, automobiles, Apple computers... everything was created in Italy by Italians, right? I just showed your posting to my co-workers... some of them are still laughing. It just confirms the reputation Italians have for being FULL OF SHIT!!! Tony, you need to realize Italy is a poor country!!! Yes, its past is glorious, I'll admit that, but so was Egypt's when the Pharaohs ruled that country. Italy is a shame to the EU... full of corruption and shit.

  • Not Internet nor space shuttles but telephone and radio i said, these are facts man, just study. The car? Never heard about Eugenio Barsanti e Felice Matteucci, they invented and "patented" the first engine for cars, of course not...if your co-workers are bird-brained it's not my fault. Italy is in the G8, co-founder of the EU and listed 8th in the world "quality of life index" (US is about 13th...) Please dude, stop studying history at the "Warner Bros"school, , travel more and get a culture

  • do you ever shut up!?

  • I just get nervous when a redneck offend my wonderful country without any reason. Got it kitty?

  • If you have any prove of it, just demonstate it, i'll be waiting, in the meantime, fuck you and the big slut of your mama, crap head of a halfbreed

  • Italy owns 60% to 70% of the world art, It's the most amazing open air museum on the planet. We discovered America and gave it the name. The english language itself ia about 60% Latin. You are writing your comments with roman alphabet and almost every field of knowledge in the western world is due to Roman and Italian culture.

You're only a stupid ignorant American cow. The immense contribute we gave is just hidden to the eyes of red necks like you. Pull the chain and go back to the sewer

  • French? Those fags? They still complain because they have benn ass-owned by Romans for centuries. Look at you not one country but the whole world is laughing at you and consider you the stupidest people on earth! Don't look at the hair in our eye but rather the beam you have in your ass...

  • eslu oila unbria prettio pica in venezia el iod aluf

  • wow..che stupenda citta e venezia non ti stanca mai,con le gondole,i ponti,i canali,vorrei viverci..ciao venezia

  • do the people there have to buy flood insurance?

  • Wow, I'm guessing that was a Sunday....

  • ive never bin to venice but i wan t to go so bad cuz it looks so peacefull btw ppl watch my vids skurplunkvid

  • very nice, I go to Venice many times each year but have never seen it this quiet. I love this city.

  • This is MY hometown!:) I live in Venice, Italy n it is beautiful!!!:) I speak Italian AND English!!!:)

  • three different youtube videos and i have seen that you wrote the same exact thing in all three. would you like a cookie perhaps? stop whoring for attention.

  • wow-great english!!! actually, i wasn't calling you a whore in the sense that you're sexually promiscuous, but that you're doing the "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!!!" thing.

that's all. i just thought i would bring it to your attention so that, perhaps, you wouldn't look so whorish (for attention, that is) in the future. see, i'm doing you a favor! adios!

  • Well I exaxctly still am not nailed the English thing yet.....Since I learned how 2 speak English 2 1/2 years ago I'm still used 2 Italian.....So Yeah...srry

  • I am going there next month, what would you suggest? Where should i go to see, n i m going to Milan too. What are the great places to go? Thanks in advance =)

  • I can only tell u about Venice but if I were u, I would go on lots of gondola rides n relax a bit n check out Venice first, then u might wanna just check out the beautiful buildings.....srry I am not that specific but I don't wanna spoil ur trip;)

  • i miss italy!!!lovely video, better when ur standing ther tho :(

  • I want to live there when I graduate.

  • its so beautiful, i wish i could visit there sometime....
