This was only the opening sequence in the earlier years. It was revised every so often, adding scenes from recently completely seasons. Hallmark channel has adopted one version of the Murder She Wrote Opening sequence they use when all the episodes they air.

My grandma used to love this show when it was on the air! Growing up, I knew Angela Lansbury best for this show, as well as for being the voice of Mrs. Potts from "Beauty and the Beast". About 5-6 years ago, I discovered the musical "Sweeney Todd", and I discovered that she had originated the role of Mrs. Lovett. Hehe, that was kind of a shock to me! But I am definitely a big fan of hers. =D
