  • @hmgn142 Let's not insult religious figures, now. Yeshua never said anything bad about Nihon.

  • 東北地方に住む者から

    Gimmeabreakmanも

    石原も

    同類の差別主義者のゴミくず。

    相手(被災者)の立場を全く考えない愚か者だと思う。

    無知という言葉もお似合い。

  • Hey is the hate of Chinese really true and rampant in Japan? And do you have sources for the crap that Shintaro Ishihara says?

  • @jasin95

Not true. Not rampant. Check description.

  • Ishihara's comment is just infuriating. Innocent children died or are now orphaned, families will forever be haunted that they can never be reunited with loved ones let alone find them and all he can say is because of divine retribution and other ignorant spew.

Also those in other countries saying Japan deserved due to their crimes or because they don't believe in God. Nobody deserves this no matter what the country's past or present war crimes were. Or what they believe in.

  • @CPCChina

Search Second Sino-Japanese War and Chinese civil war and tell me that nobody was killed by "authorities" in China before WW2 or during it. And that is not the focus of this video anyway. How many people complained? You. Why? Nobody cares.

  • @CPCChina

    To it's own people.

  • I just would like to hear your opinion about Nanking as an American perspective. As you know, Japanese people divide over the issue. BTW I hate Ishihara too.

  • I'm just wondering if you have ever researched about Nanking by yourself, not reading history books or watching tv........

  • @Daviysoh

Yeah, I used the third option. I made things up. LOL.

Seriously, what kind of question is that? I don't speak Chinese or live in Nanking. How the hell am I suppose to research it?

  • you're my hero.

  • here in Hong Kong, Starbucks had a 2 hour fund raiser thing and donated 100% of all beverage sales for the Japan relief funds. I spent over $350 there today.

  • every country has done things wrong in the past and that includes every country in the world.why the hell are people going on about ww2 when they never went through it themselves its time to stop living in the past because most of the people from 60 or 70 years ago aren't alive anymore theres no need to be so hateful towards eachother

  • 頭大丈夫か?

  • I cannot help but to be upset at those bad comments. Those people should experience disaster so they can realize that life is precious no matter who you are.

  • Ishihara sounds like a Japanese version of Bill O'Reilly.

  • It is a figure it rapes, it does, and with the lid.

It was said that the friend of me in Japan was your [oka], and I also think so.

Please come to Japan some time. It welcomes it.

Let's make love about an intense beast in the Fukushima nuclear plant at that time. It wants to be meltdown with you.

From the samurai who doesn't have the name of Japan either.

  • Yeah let's mention Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh's ignorant and downright offensive commentary about this. Its the equivalent to saying the Americans deserved 9/11.

Nobody deserved what happened to Japan.

  • yea... ishihara tends to say some really stupid things, and do stupid things as well, but apparently the people of Tokyo like having a super conservative as their governor...

in times of crisis, humans show both their best and worst attributes, its good to know that most japanese and many people from around the world are doing what they can to help, but then you have the stupidity of some people amplified to ridiculous levels as well.

  • WWJD? Probably not act like an asshole after such a disaster! Think about that before you go running your mouths, religious nuts :( Also, I am truly sickened by the Pearl Harbor comments I have been seeing around. I hope those people get run over by a Toyota!

  • oh and one other thing.... yes i think its good to make it clear that we shouldnt feed the trolls. people that make those kinds of comments are people just looking for attention and spreading hate, by arguing with them, we arent "putting them in their place" we're simply feeding them, giving the the attention and arguments that they WANT ;)

  • im amazed at the insensativity and intolerance of certain people. it never fails when disaster strikes that someone just HAS to be an ass about it. really it puts me at a loss for words as how to fully describe people that think that way. we are all humans, why must people be such bigots at a time like this? sadly its a few bad apples that often spoil the bunch. radical opinions that we hear, certainly dont represent the way the majority of people feel about the situation there.

    thanks victor

  • I don't understand how he got elected as a governor !

  • it´s funny because NOBODY knows if God interferes or not. Not even scientists...the fact of the matter is that NOBODY knows. A natural disaster is caused by nature but whats behind nature we dont know as we cannot explain the bigbang ....yet...

NOW, does God (if theres one) want this to happen? obviously not.

  • Japan is awesome because they are secular. They work hard, take responsibilty and unite as one because they are secular. I wish the USA would learn from Japan and strive to be just as secular and amazing as Japan is and all their people too ^^

  • May I say that the only group that are really* stressing that Japan deserved it, is the Westboro Baptist Church. I think we can all say they're retarded, and shouldn't even be recognized.

  • @yes2lesbians no they are right like they usually are.

  • japan had it coming. not haiti.

maybe with nzland and haiti the aiming was off if u belive in some daity . but them assholes ha dit coming. for killing whales and dolphins in the cove. and in the occeans. next norway, iceland and canada. fuck all them cunts

  • @BRm2008 your grammar gave me a headache

  • @BRm2008 ya ur right, all the little jap kids desereved to die. wat the fuck is wrong with u.

  • @dugreemer nothing whats wrong with u?

i dont feel sorry for them whale killers

  • @BRm2008 fuck you! you damn narrowminded idiot! if you hate them, why the hell are you watching this?

  • @Kibibobo57101

BRm2008 has mental problems. Watch his videos. I am amazed he even knows how to upload a video. But if you watch his vids it's quite apparent he is mentally handicapped. Actually the fact he has an idea of what is right and wrong is good, even if it's misguided.

  • @dugreemer

just shut up!!! Maybe your country deserve something. I know your country also does things that others people don't like.

  • @bleach299990 i was being Facetious dude. how could little kids deserve that.

  • @BRm2008

    really? You think of that?

    You are one sick motherfucker

maybe It was right for Australia to have that flood for supporting Sea Shepherds then?

  • Poor Japan... :/ I hadn't heard any of that "Japan deserves it" bs. I'm sorry to hear that. People can be so disgusting.

  • The US has Pat Robertson. The UK has George Galloway and Japan has Shintaro Ishihara. It's often entertaining to hear what misguided rhetoric these men are going to spout next. It's just a shame they have any power as they'd make fantastic jesters.

  • Have not been watch non-disaster news so did not hear about this until now. What a jerk.

  • i remember someone saying someone had made a vid/interview about saying this was retribution for Japan bombing pearl harbor. My reply to that is, if that is so what will Americas retribution for dropping two A-bombs on Japan killing x amount of ppl. not only that but mass devastation to the land and creating generic mutations for years.

  • Thank you for the video.

  • wow victor...after hearing what that guy basically said i was just floored...and then you tell us hes a public official? governor of tokyo? WHAT THE CRAP! why would people elect somebody like that

  • 世界最大級の地震。世界最大級の愛と復興エネルギーを!

  • I'm really glad that Japan was never Christianised. Japan's culture is so awesome that I wouldn't want to see it get tainted by something as backward as Christianity. The Japanese were too smart for Christianity anyways. It's totally impossible for me to not bash Christianity because of my background in philosophy. Jesus actually wasn't a nice guy. Look up Luke 19:27 in the Bible if you don't believe me. I wish GimmeaBreakMan would bash Christianity too.

  • @TheDavid2222

Not to rain on your parade but... Luke 19:27 says "...But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me." "

If you read back to Luke 19:12 you will realize the man that said that was NOT Jesus, but a "man of noble birth" that Jesus was telling a story about. It was a parable. Soooo you're completely taking it out of context. You should do your homework. Haha.

  • @vroominator Actually it WAS Jesus who said that. I have argued this passage with many Christians and it is totally recognized that Jesus was the speaker. Look this passage up ANYWHERE on the internet and you will find that this is Jesus's words. Maybe you should do your homework next time. LOL

  • @TheDavid2222 "I wish GimmeaBreakMan would bash Christianity too."

    ... ... ... ...

What the heck? One doesn't bash another's religion, just because they don't like it.

P.S. I believe in Yeshua (Jesus) and Elohim (God), and I'm a philosopher.

  • Ishihara = Jessie Helms of 日本

  • @Waos19 Third World? LMAO... Japan ranks in the Top 3 economies in the world, next to the U.S. and China and is most developed nation in all of Asia. But haters like you are obviously ill-educated, uninformed and intellectually challenged. So go back to your Red Man chew, grits and Bud and spare us your backwater redneck rants. If you hurry, you can catch a repeat of the last NASCAR race on TBS.

  • Politics is shit no matter what country you live in and you'll always have idiots. The bigger the population, the more amount of idiots are likely to be spawned. As far as those who say it's karmic retribution, did they not think about the nukes? Pearl Harbor was nothing compared to getting nuked twice and that was enough to bitch slap some sense into Japan.

  • Unfortunate considering Japan has evolved into one of America's strongest allies and trading partners and Asia's greatest democracy -- one which is based to this day on a constitution that the U.S. (vis a vis Douglas MacArthur) drafted. The Japan of today bears little resemblance to the Japan of yesterday.

  • The deluge of hate-filled, racist comments posted in the aftermath of this tragedy reflects the intellect of the haters. Had comedians like Gilbert Gottfried, or any celeb, made similar jokes about Haitians in the wake of their earthquake they would be excoriated. But racist attacks about blacks have long ago been condemned and considered un-P.C. Sadly, that's not the case when it comes to the Japanese or Asians in general. I suspect that is in part because they don't look like us.

  • HAHA x3 great video!

  • "Karmic Retribution" my ass... Japan has more than redeemed -- and transformed -- itself in the 66 years since the end of World War II. It is now one of most developed and peace-loving nations in the world. Would these haters wish the same fate on Germany for what Hitler did more than a half-century ago? Or the U.S. for enslaving blacks prior to the Civil War?

  • true, there are idiots in every country. I find it funny how, well you know. People always look on the negative when something huge happens. But can't do much, just ignore them and continue on with our lives, because there always going to be there from time to time

  • Somebody posted the pearl harbor status on facebook and i went off on them, idiots like that give Americans a bad name. The fact is people are just ignorant because that same person thought the Japanese are communists.Unfortunatly the arrogant and ignorant ones are the ones who speak their mind and the ones who have compassion stay quiet.

  • so 2 atom boms wasn't enough for "what they did" in WW2?

68 civilians died in Pearl Harbor

Over 100,000 civilians died in Hiroshima & Nagasaki

It's sad that some see "Japan" as an entity ...while it's not, it's a place full of people, that have a family and are suffering because of a natural disaster.

  • It's really good to watch all these videos from you to get the true lowdown on what's happening. Take care Victor. Lots of love from Berlin.

  • I can't believe Ishihara is still in office.

  • @Waos19 yeah but they were also nuked twice... from americans. your comment is retarded.

  • @NagualElias You third world garbage, go help your imperialist bigots...that's if you can find them under the rubble.

  • we have our fair share of nutbags here too ;]

  • glad to see your ok!

  • nice verve poster ..

  • "Weve all got it comin kid"

  • @vikingfaen wtf is with you people? these are fucking tragedies that people go through, not things for you to contrast and compare or try to use as an example as a being better than b. get the fuck over yourself. as many people say, Japan is note superior, it is just entirely different. so stop using catastrophes to try and compare apples to oranges.

  • @mywingsareyours Im just complimenting them on keeping their cool and not going apemad in a situation like this.

  • @vikingfaen the majority of New Orleans is populated by um...a certain demographic

  • thanks for the update. i was curious is this shinto guy the current governor of tokyo? why is he getting re-elected if he has such radical views?

  • Tokyo elected this guy. Japan doesn't deserve this but people in Tokyo are stupid.

  • SO, it's karmic retribution for a 3 year war which involved all countries? Oh my, aren't we all screwed, here in the states. I won't even bother mentioning all our fails but why not go to our recent fails in Irak and the middle east. Hmm...

The governor of Tokyo is somewhat scary and I won't go further on that topic but on the other hand you have to comprehend Japan is built on an honor/shame culture and it's just normal they don't want "foreigners" and people who are different in their homes.

  • good to know you and family are safe

  • Did you now that those who hate Japan the most are those victims of the Japanese empire IN ASIA? See, these are the things we don't learn in school. I wonder what some Koreans, Chinese, and other Asians that still shoulder the grudge are saying. Have we done any research on that? Of course not. We cannot read their languages.

What am I trying to say? Generalizing and collective guilt is no better than this article below. Let's grow up and think critically - not collectively.

  • I am ashamed as an American to hear of this. However, let's try to be very very careful and not make this an "American" thing. Can we not just condemn the act and not make it about all/most Americans. Because most Americans don't believe in this.

  • @ticklebug u shouldnt be ashamed to be an american becuz of stupid coments. every country has insensitive or just plain dumb people. ive and im sure alot more people have seen/heard more then enough brazilians, greeks, brits, etc. that use racist language stupid remarks and all kinds of bull. so when i hear "americans say this" or "an american said this", i dont take any shame in it becuz they dont say the remark becuz they are americans but becuz theu are stupid "people"

  • true, christ wouldn't do that, nor the earthquake, nor the tsunami, nor the nukes, nor the volcano, he would try to help, thats WWJD

  • He's correct about 3, the first one is tricky, but am I the only one who thinks he just wants attention? D:

  • about 22:30,sunday,osaka,minor aftershock

  • It's a sad state of affairs mate... I'm seen some sick jokes already and I really just think it's childish. Anyway, hope ya doing well mate :D

  • I wish I could do something...

  • no one deserve an 9.1 earthquake

  • WHAT?! Lex Luther??? The fiend....

  • Governor of Tokyo? what are his duties? pardon my lack of knowledge on Japan but is Tokyo also a state?

btw is the news telling you everything there?.

    Can you get out?

I am hearing in the states that if the wind shifts you are all in big trouble

  • Stay inside! Just as a precaution.

  • OMG Lex Luther cause Katrina!! Damn that man!!

  • Who the hell says this is well deserverd on the japanese people..Damn idiots who belive so.

  • The plan for me later this year was to go to Japan for a couple weeks, wonder if that would, or should, go ahead...

  • @Syrick where do you want to go? anywhere west of nagoya, south of toyama should be fine

  • @Syrick It should be fine later on this year.. things should settle in a month knowing Japan. Except for up north Honshu.. that will take a while.

  • @katmcdowell It was going to be some time August, I guess I'll just have to talk to my friends and get their opinion, still time to figure it out.

  • People have to remember that those saying Japan had it coming for WWII or not accepting christianity are such a minority to the vast number of people who do not feel that way. they are opportunistic idiots who because of the internet get more attention than they would have some 20 years ago. Just roll your eyes and move on.

  • This is worse then the shitstorm in the Hiroshima day videos.

Yukio Mishima was well known to be a homosexual, I find it hard to believe that Ishihara would get along with him; but I guess that doesn't really matter.

Ishihara also advocates the construction of nuclear arms; in order to defend against the neighboring nuclear armed countries(Russia, N Korea, China). I'm not a Japanese citizen, so I don't have the right to criticize.

  • @MetagameHawaii

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Maybe Mishima was still in the closet then.

I don't think you have to be a citizen to criticize anyone if they apparently deserve it.

  • Glad to see you're ok. I have no words for how bad I feel for all of you right now. I keep thinking about how this is the second time in my grandmothers lifetime such devastation has been dealt there.

If I was a religious person, I'd say something apparently comforting here.

I got nothing. Try and stay safe, and good luck.

  • no

  • glad you and yours are safe...

  • @battim

    Thanks, Tim

  • like I commented on japananarchist's channel, these people that said it was payback for pearl harbor are fucking idiots. I say fucking idiots, because I can't narrow it down any further. They probably haven't even heard of pearl harbor until that shitty movie was made. It's comments like these shit heads that make me wonder how bad has the general public of the USA is on their intelligence .

  • it's sickening that people blame this tragedy on super natural causes such as religion or karma. thousands upon thousands of people have lost their lives, lost loved ones or been displaced. i wish for once people would find a way to put the bickering aside and help their fellow man. nobody deserves to suffer the way these people have. PERIOD!

  • anyone who says japan deserved this because of karmic retribution or god needs to walk to their kitchen, reach under the counter, grab a strong cleaning product and drink all of it.

  • @ScoundrelzNTwK Agreed

  • I have heard lots of rude comments towards the japanese too and I got so upset I cried. I couldn't believe in a time as terrible as this people still had mean things to say. They quickly forget that Japan donated money to help with hurricane katrina.

I guess it was karma for the dinosaurs too when that meteor struck because they didn't accept Jesus into their hearts...

  • earthquake and all other natural disasters are all far out of our control~ there is not a nation that DESERVES thing like an earthquake no matter what the people have done. Everyone makes mistakes, besides, the people who lives in Japan are not the same people that were involved in the war~ we are all living things on this planet and we should treat each other with respect ,and help each other regardless of our nationalities especially when it comes to natural disasters like this!

  • I wonder if he will be reelected after what everybody heard him say on TV.

Good stuff, Victor. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • Really informative. Sick people. Thanks a lot.

  • well, let's see what would happen in 2 months. Having seen him elected 3 times, it's enough to say how stupid the voters in Tokyo are, but the next April would be a real test for them whether they become the stupidest group of voters in history or not.

  • Thanks for the video and the links, Victor. Your Christian impression was high-larioussss.

...Shintaro Ishihara sounds like a moron.. but not the cool kind of moron that makes up The Moron Army... just a regular moron...

  • It's funny how America and her minion allies always see themselves as the "good guys". One look at their histories will reveal that they have committed some of the worst human rights abuses, war crimes, and atrocities at home and abroad. They have always done a good job at sweeping their crimes under the rug while simultaneously judging and condemning others. If there is such a thing as karmic retribution, then America and her minion allies deserve it just as much as the Japanese.

  • @snsdwesley1

I just want to qualify my comments by saying that my intention is neither to stir things up nor to generalise. I just felt the need to vent about the ignorance and hypocrisy of some.

  • IF THIS PUNISHMENT SENT FROM ABOVE THEN, PEOPLE SHOULD JUST SHUT UP AND STOP REMINDING THEM OF IT. NO USE IN PICKING THE ON SORE IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON LETTING IT HEAL.

  • Thanks for that link! I want the money to got to Japan no middle man bullshit. Thanks again for the link!

  • seismic things have nothing to do with karma, its has to do with magma and tectonic plates. freedom is the right to worship who or what ever you choose...freedom and liberty, some thing Japan and the States enjoys. Karma, Christ and ww2 should be irrelevant. got to let things go and give another a hand.

  • Good video.

Some people need to think about other before speaking.

  • As I've heard from some engineers talking on NPR radio is that the cost of the disaster will conservatively be 200 billion, all that due to the reconstruction of all the infrastructure, economic stall and health and logistics costs. That is, if the nuclear situation currently undergoing doesn't cause further complications.

  • I feel bad for everyone who is effected by this :(. The people who said those things really have hearts of ice imo.

  • glad your ok

    you were on my mind

  • No matter how you separate people (whether nationality, religion, education, skin color, eye color, etc.), there will be good people and bad people in each group. Stupid people and smart people. Brave and cowardly. Stable and mad. Japan is no different. Thanks for the video!

  • No, it is a disaster, every one has it coming sooner or later, but only this time you'll see the fastest ever restoration on earth.

  • Japanese religious titles may not be christian, but the collective Japanese behavior typically follows the 10 commandments closer than any country with a majority of christian values.

  • yes, really 天罰...I hate JP

  • Interesting video man. I didn't know anything about that Shintaro Ishihara idiot! he is indeed a douchebag!

  • You mentioned Katrina. I find it funny how lots are forgetting that we (americans) got hit by a hurricane and the crazy people that show themselves after every natural disaster always surface. They are no different than people holding "The end is nigh" signs.

  • Anyone heard anything from Yoko Shibata of Hanafubuki? I think she lives in Kyoto but she hasn't posted any video or message on either of her channels since the 11th.

  • Funny, you akin-ed the Japanese disaster to Godzilla and explained how some miss directed responsibility of Katrina to divine oppression, when HAARP caused both of them with their giant, billion watt, microwave rig.

  • Yea, that guy sounds like an idiot! I'm thinking about u guys over there all the time. Stay safe.

  • if there was karma, then i guess north korea and china would turn into wastelands by super disasters, if u understand the actual conditions of china a north korea nowadays. their governments are pure nasty fascist shit.

  • Nice video man. As for the haters and God slingers, always looking for a reason to justify their existence I think.

Good to know you are away from the chaos. I believe one of our rescue teams arrived the other day and another gets there today thereabouts. The Japanese arrived to aid us very quickly down in Christchurch so the reverse needs to be true and so be it.

As for the WW2 brigade, my old man fought the Japanese and I showed him some of the comments. He shook his head and simply said sad.

  • I have donated 5 dollars.

    I hope it helps :)

  • @MegaMrjosh Mate your a champion, $1 or $5 from one person then multiplied by the number of others who can afford to do the same quickly becomes thousands. It is not how much that you can give bro, it is just that you gave whatever you could, Kia Kaha

  • This is a natural disastor. Not a Karmic retribution hahaha.. You may consider this as a "KARMA", but you can't say they had it coming.

  • I wouldn't want that Shintaro guy running for office..

  • I don't think that Japan deserved to be hit by Tsunami's and Earthquakes...and I'm a Christian. But I do think that what has happened is a link to the end times.

  • So what will American's divine Retribution be for Nagasaki and Hiroshima?

  • Why would WWII have anything to do with an earthquake? natural disasters are natural disasters - they have nothing to do with war or Christianity - and I thought Christians were supposed to be compassionate...... hmmmm.

  • Some of these people seem to have the idea that the United States is God's chosen country, and anything that happens to them by an outsider is an unforgivable sin, and God will do everything in his power to punish them for eternity. It's sad just how extreme people take their so-called "patriotism".

  • Thanks so much for sharing the Japanese Red Cross link! I really feel relieved now, like I made a difference. ありがとう, Gimmeabreakman!

  • iSHIThara is the most senile Japanese politician you could ever hope to not meet in person. He basically campaigns exclusively on subject matters which define the individual Japanese person. From Homosexuality to the reading of Manga and the watching of anime. He's the scum of the Japanese people and It simply boggles my mind as to how he got re-elected three times. Simply one of the tragedies that has befallen the Japanese.

  • Stupid people annoy me. >sigh<

    Great video Victor.

  • I was told the exact same thing by a Christian person, I have never felt so angry in my life! I told her to f@ck off!!

  • They're natural disasters lol Tsunamis hit coastal areas that's just it...... It's not like a giant fist of light came down from the sky and punched Japan. I hate that people would use a tragedy like this to further their religous (japan hasn't accepted christianity" views or whatever. I can definetly see why that would bother the Japanese.

  • They had a chance to get out of Japan in WW2 ,,, Now its too late....

  • wait... isn't Yukio Mishima homosexual? And Ishihara hates homosexuals now? hmm...I sense a repressed memory...

  • I really dislike religions. My parents and family are religious. Witch is kind of sad in my eyes. I did something that actually makes a difference and donated.
