@LiftingForLife Ian, is it true that arms get bigger if you train them indirectly? What I mean by indirectly, is by doing only compound movements (cable rows, pullups, chinups, closegrip lateral pulldowns and so on) and without doing any isolation exercises like biceps curls.
I'm playing rugby now, games are usually around 1pm on Sundays. Should I treat the game as I would a workout and eat my preworkout meal of usually 50c/100-150c/15-20f before I head out, around 10am? Also what about the night before? At this point I don't really care about if I'm going over my daily macros. My biggest concern is performance, and not feeling like shit during the game. What would you suggest for peri-game-day nutrition? Thank you Ian.

@ntfitness i may have given off the wrong idea, i totally believe the science you explain behind fat loss and muscle building etc. i just believe that in order to be a "healthy" (aside from fat loss) that you cant be eating pop tarts and things like that haha. but still, much respect and keep up the good work.
@LiftingForLife to be honest, after seeing things like the diet of indigenous tribes and also seeing how cancer, heart disease, etc. is not an issue in those cultures, i have grown a phobia for manufactured foods. i know you may not be fond of "primal" eating but i see it as a believable way to avoid disease.
@loves2spooj6969 Have you noticed that the average life expectancy for such tribes is several decades less than that of the developed world? Cancer, heart disease etc is not a problem for such people because they usually die of easily treated injuries and infections.
@LiftingForLife however, the expectancy of cancer in wildlife and indigenous humans has proven to be far lower than that of humans living in populated areas(eating chemically modified food) and domestic animals. but btw back to my first question, whats your opinion on intermittent fasting? some say it'll increase GH levels.
um i really dont know how yo to word it but i was told on another video of yours by someone random to stop bloating i need to eat dietary fiber but i really dont know what that is
theres an under lying comedy value behind the way u pitch things, love it lol. great info, keep it coming, ppl need to here this stuff. no one tells us. untill now
I love you man. Thanks for answering my question so thoroughly about fat. You're so knowledgeable man, thank God there are people like you making the effort to educate people like me.
Great stuff, more videos like this! Love to finally here the reasoning behind stuff, rather then regurgitated bro science jargon spit out by everyone. I think as you continue to improve your physique you will greatly increase your followers, as most correlate aesthetics with knowledge, which obviously holds no correlation.
while i disagree with a lot of the stuff you say i totally respect how you base what you preach on logic and scientific fact. However i think that you should be a little more open minded but still skeptical about what you hear in regards to nutrition. btw what do you think about intermittent fasting(punctuated eating)? thanks
Lol haters came and took your site, don't worry those fatties don't have a clue about nutrition so nobody will listen to them. And Ian you should use Comodo Internet Security, with Comodo nobody can do that to you, check main site of Comodo, good stuff for free you got there. All the best.
@LiftingForLife very good explanation bro! one question,if im bulking on 3500-4000 cals right? can i jump in to a cut right away.like the next can i consume 2500 cals???what do ya reccomend?thanks bro!
@eddamonsta I'm not a fan of rapidly cutting calorie intake because it tends to have an excessively negative effect on thyroid function. Strength can also take a hit if you suddenly pull a lot of food out of your diet.
i dont eat b4 the gym i go too early to eat.
butshould i still consume something
