i bought this procuct and i really dont like it, it makes your hair feel odd and like i want to wash it. i cant run my fingers through my hair and i cant brush it, it basically makes your haor just look a mess and added no volume really just made it a mess. for the price i think it isnt very good at all and would not recommend anyone buying it

it depends if you use shampoo/comditioner which takes the oils out of your hair or not .. i wash my hair everyday and mine isnt and i straighten it and stuff so it depends

Gemma - that looks amazing! Need your advice though: I've got naturally super thick and super straight hair, and I'm desperate for a bit more volume. I feel the exact same way about my hair too. I like it wavy so much better b/c it has volume, so whenever I wear it straight I'm always sad b/c it's so much flatter.

Aveda makes something very similar to this, it's called "pure abundance hair potion" :) i live in Canada and i haven't been able to find the Clynol either... but aveda is pretty accessible..

I used this, and then braided my hair in the back, then I pinned the start of the braid with a pretty clip. I got a lot of compliments, and I liked it too! Just an idea.

How long did the effect last for?

For me, it lasted all day, but everyone's hair is different I guess. If it does fall flat, because the product is remouldable once you mess the hair up again the volume comes back x

Hey Ada, no the volume has lasted! Its hard to explain, but because you can keep moulding it, even if you slick the hair down to get rid of the volume, once you mess it up with your fingers again the volume will come back xx

Haha yes! I want lots of it! I feel like this review is crap because my doorbell rang about 5 times whilst I was making it, bet the postman thought I was strange with one half of my head flat and one side voluminous!
