All these videos are interesting and amusing, but I think it would even more interesting if they had asked each of the people if they had ever been to the country that they are stereotyping. Once you been in a country for a while you're able to get past the stereotypes. Having said that, some of the stereotypes do have a bit of truth to them.
(Carrying on from last comment) never stereotype a nation - I'm sure there are some Americans who are like some British people, and some who are not :)
Lol I love how quite a few of the people in this video think that most of the English are rlly reserved and... Not colourful? (Mainly because they all seem boring xD). Lol u shud come to my house and my friend's houses - we are not like that at all xD and I'm English haha!
Oh and if i were to be asked what the Americans are like I wouldn't have a bloody clue cuz I've never met one - but even if I had I can't imagine they could be THAT different - I mean we are all human lol. Besides, I would n
I'm an American and I ride a horse with cowboy hat. I start my day by shooting in the air randomly like Yosemite Sam. In all seriousness don't you love the stereotypes lol.
Also, what was the point of drawing out John and nasd;flkaj from Manchester's response? I was thinking it was gonna be damn good if we background info from them.
gotta love the interviewer totally dissing the irish lady. "john's a good english name!" guess the world was different then, but still seems weird that you could be british and never have heard the name siobhan.
I'm an American, and I'd say we're fairly represented in this video. Pretty much every response is consistent with my experience. Generous and also typically friendly to foreigners, but loud, self-obsessed, pushy and overconfident. I might say we're oblivious, though I don't think we're alone in that. We can be a lot to take, but we mean well.
LOLL "No comment" i love the Americans its part of their nature to be load ect thats what makes them them, what would be the point if we were all the same?!
i don't get why people think we are loud(that was sarcasm).... but considering I am american I would say we are patriotic(maybe a little too much), idiotic, obsessive over themselves, cocky... yea... thats good... can't wait til i move..
I'm an American and I'm afraid that I cant disagree with much of what was said in those interviews. On the other hand, there are good and bad.... brilliant.... and not so smart folks in every country on earth. As for me, I have never met a Brit that I did not enjoy meeting and talking to.
I'm American...I usually start my day with waking up to random primal screaming at inanimate objects...and then I'm fairly brash at my toothbrush, and i overpowered a bowl of cereal and was over-confident while starting my car.
This overzealous Yank leaps out of a bed filled with a minimum 3 ladies , scratches his 6 pak abs till he draws a bit of blood. With only a loin cloth I leap from rooftop to rooftop till i reach the edge of the city then run wild into the woods chasing frightened animals with similar primal screaming till I tackle a deer or cyote ripping it's heart out and eating it on the spot then i carry the remaining carcass back home to feed my beotches !
interesting. the ones who actually met americans said that they were very friendly, but the rest said loud. apparently the brits think they're quiet & unfriendly :)
On the plus side only one person called americans fat. lol

I didn't realize we americans are so loud when we visit Europe. I will lower my voice next time I visit there. We are a rowdy bunch for sure.
