Well, sometimes, I'm nostalgic about the people I would have like to meet. But I do not think I am nostalgic of times gone by. I wasn't there to know if it was really that wonderful... Society back then was so repressed... It's very difficult to judge. There were happy few. They were few, for sure. Were they happy ? No heartbreaks and failures ? I don't think so. Better like the life we lead on. It's the only one, we'll ever get.

Yes, when they went to Italy, in the 50's the Oliviers always stayed at the Locanda San Vigilio, which doesn't seem to have changed over the years. You're lucky to be able to go there for the week end. And thanks for the nice comment.
