What did you apply for when getting accommodation? Was it a two bedroom flat? Cuz when i try to apply, thats the smallest living arrangement possible but i only want a small one bedroom flat like yours!
@seventhstreett I know you asked this ages ago, but in case anyone else on here has the same question: there are no "one bedroom flats"... Each flat has 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom. You aren't expected to share a bedroom with anyone else, if that's what you were thinking.
no mate.landline needs topping up but i dont know how much it costs cos i never used it.i know once u top it up then incoming calls are free but if u dont then its not active so no incoming or outgoing calls
no mate, there are no rooms on first, just offices, reception and common room. common room looks pretty funky and cook now, used to be shit when i was there but they refurbished it few months back.
hey good video, would be cool if you give a clip of the kitchen, corridors and if you have time the bathroom lol. Ive applied for j lester but it didn't give me the option of a 3/4 bedroom on the application form.
yes...definately. Closer to town centre, uni and train station. JL and EC are next to each other, though both are a bit further from town centre than Bramell and Mathias but then Mathias and Bramell are further away from uni and train station. Not a big issue though
Blimey. I was there at John Lester in 1994-1995. The rooms haven't changed one bit. even the furniture is the same.
A local threw themselves off of the 13th floor about 5 weeks into the first term..

rooms in the middle 4 bedroom flats (flat 3,6) are slightly bigger, but nothing to shout about.
