Thanks, I know you are big messing with the character animations to, I knew you would be one to comment ;-) Not to many 3d max fx guys in my subscription yet, most after effects lovers, and I am one to, but I love 3d just as much.
LOL, yeah, when I use the procedure for a shot I will do something neat with it, for now just putting out random things with test objects to show what I have been up to, hoping I will teach myself something new that gives me an idea for a scene to do to use all the fx i can do, so you wil see me prob put out many random fx for no reason at all so everyone knows i am still around and working ;-)
LOL, yeah, I could do footprints to, but not this way, this is so much better then the hard manual way of doing it, and I dont mean the spray that comes off his feet, that is easy, the actual foot imprint is the cool thing especially the way its done. I havents seen anyone use the technique when doing animations.
No, didnt know that, dont really get into stuff like that, so many peope do them I just never figure on winning, just like playing with my programs till I come up with an idear for a new movie scene with me and my kids ;-) Just doing random things right now hoping it will jump start my creative section in my brain and come up with a cool scene to do using all the fx i know how to do.
I am sure anyone that play with max would appreciate this animation, getting footprints in a ground plane that follow the actor or object, so this can be used for a number of things, like a vehicle driving through mud, rolling something in snow like on ice age, any object can create the impressions in the ground using particle flow in max, this is not an After Effects clip, just cool to be able to do this inside max easy now using particle flow and a few other tricks of coarse.
oh wow, very nice!
