I've just noticed something...Your description says that this music is a tribute to the girls from Tekken and Soul Calibur who are Japanese. Setsuka is NOT Japanese. I had wondered why, at first, Namco seems to have failed in making Setsuka more oriental looking, and ended up making her more caucasian looking. It was INTENTIONAL. If you've read Setsuka's profile, she had always suffered from racial intolerance and hatred, due to her non-asian physical looks.

It was never explained who was Setsuka's parents, how/why they abandoned her, how she ended up in Japan, but, besides suffering from racism, she was moved from one foster family to another. No one had ever showed her kindness or love. Until one man became her martial arts master and a sort of adopted father. She loved him like a father, but she never realised how much he loved her, until he was dying/dead, after losing in a fight against a mysterious stranger.

That's when Setsuka set out on a journey of personal revenge. She later found out the mysterious stranger who killed her adopted father/martial arts master/potential lover was Mitsurugi, hence the opening intro movie of "Soul Calibur III", showing them fighting.
I have to say that I am really disappointed that sexy Setsuka is not going to be in "Soul Calibur IV", but Tira and Zasalamel is?!?!? I thought Zasalamel was supposed to have DIED in SC3! Give me sexy Setsuka back!

Guess what: I'm not stupid. As a Soul Calibur fan, I've always taken it upon myself to know about the characters' back stories. Did you really think that I didn't know that Setsuka wasn't Japanese? Of course I did! It's the fact that she was not only RAISED in Japan but also dresses like a Japanese person back in those days that I included her here. Besides, she could be Japanese at heart, seeing that she was raised there.
