  • I agree with gtdrummerdude.

Either the mustang still has stock gears or he didn't get it tuned after the engine mods.

an H/C/I setup on a stang is nothing to fuck around with

  • @GuitarFreak881 those mods on the stang won't do a whole lot lol. Sure it'll make a very noticeable increase, but it wouldn't even break 300 horses. The ecu upgrade on the s4 can net about 70 horses and 100 tq if done right. I've owned an 02 gt for a while, and about to own the s4. I'd take the s4 any day with mods listed. Maybe if the stang had 4.10's like mine.

  • Ive owned both the s4 and the 3000gt and much happier with the s4

  • If that Mustang had heads it was the slowest Mustang i've ever seen with aftermarket heads. My 1982 5.0 has stock heads with mild exhaust pocket porting and a decent Crane cam and had no problem easily eating up an S4 (stock or near-stock). Later the same night I got beat by 1 car by a 2003 GT 5 speed with exhaust and 4.10 gears, for comparative purposes.

  • @gtdrummerdude I know this is a very old comment, but an S4 with ecu and exhaust will run high 12s at 110 in a 1/4 mile (0-60 in the mid 4s and top out at 175 with fairly flat torque all the way). Elaborating on what thenextadventure said, these cars come very under tuned in the US market and will see 320hp with the ecu alone. [Citation: Nogaroblue/2003Gumball]. I don't see how you could eat up a near stock s4 but be beaten by a 2003 GT with a 4.10.

  • Yay 4 the mustang... keeepin up pretty well
