Almost no point in credits anymore, most shows don't have due to the irritatingly high commercial times. most hour long shows are only about 40 maybe 42 minutes of actual show so no real time to waste on pretty open sequences.
That is true, but I love opening credits, they totally set the show for me. I always feel like a show is missing something if it doesn't have an opener.
Just think what would Doctor Who be without his theme song...? Charmed without Love Spit Love, Buffy without Nerf Herder. There are so many examples.
@angelcakes2404 I agree with you 100%. The sad part is that they keep trying to squeeze in more and more commercials and that leaves less and less time for the show itself. For instance about a decade ago hour long shows were about 50 minutes long, now they are only about 40 to maybe 42 minutes. It's an outrage really. I'm also glad i found someone else that can appreciate the beauty of opening themes. :)
A little confusing there but I think I know what you mean, yeh she was in the ring. She was also the main character in a tv show called Joan of Arcadia and one of the four main girls in the sisterhood of the travelling pants.
