No, not an incredible shot. It was a terrible shot, actually. His cue action was poor, he was way off to the side of the poclet, and totally lost position. The fact that the black bounced back into the pocket is pure luck.

Snooker is only fun to watch on BBC! Whenever I was in Germany and a tournament was on I used to turn off the volume because the commentators are so useless! Clive Everton, Willie Thorne, Steve Davis,... I would even rather listen to John Virgo then any german commentator.

The German commentator Rolf Kalb is not that bad, I actually quite like his commentaries. But anyway, if you watch Snooker on German Eurosport channel and your TV supports dual audio channel, you can switch from the first to the second audio channel and listen to the BBC commentaries.

yeah that's right, the german commentator is an absolute donkey. He knows the rules of snooker and that's it. I can't even think of one moment in which he really analysed the situation right on the table.

But what's the matter with John Virgo? I think he and dennis taylor are the best.
