these frogs are not friendly and you should not handle them often because our hands emit oils that go into the frogs skin and frogs breath through there skin so its like clogging pours :S more of a look and enjoy pet i own and i love it loads! hes about to eat a mouse

Gravels the worst thing you can use it causes impaction. Its best to use coconut fibre and a large bowl for water. Maybe you should get your facts straight before advising on animal husbandry.

Also quite a few frog owners like to keep a separate tank just for feeding, because some frogs are lazy asses and won't hunt for it. It's easier than dangling with tongs all day. Also, if you've got frogs living on gravel...get it out of there, you're going to kill your frogs.

I assume that was a wild bullfrog you found to feed? Be careful. Many frogs/toads are loaded with parasites/worms and will pass on to yours. Can be even more detrimental to your Pacman frog since those types of parasites/worms are different than what Pacman frogs are used to dealing with.

Damn I don't think I have ever seen that before. That bullfrog was kinda small. My pixie frog is about 4 inches. I only give him mice once in a while mostly just roaches. I thought about giving him a horse fly now that would be cool but its winter and no horse flys around.

Herpboy, You seem to be one of the only on youtube that has read up on horned frogs. In the wild they are called explosive breeders, they estivate, brumate.. whatever until the rains come and they emerge. The first frogs into the pool to lay eggs has the advantage, the first emergent babies feed on the frogs that mature later. The adults hang out and eat everyone. Nothing is safe. Frogs, bugs, birds, small mammals. We go wrong when we feed one type of food for convienience.

I know many breeders who feed frogs to their horned frgs. In the wild horned frogs eat almost nothing but other frogs. He is growing healthy and is a lot bigger than he is in this video.
