1) 陳奕迅 had lost his voice very early in the concert series. He was not at his best.

2) If you understand music and listen to most songs of both singers, you will realize Eason can handle a much wider range than Leslie.

No offense. Leslie is a very professional singer and definitely a legend. But it would be very wrong to say Eason can't sing as well as Leslie, at least not at the technical level.

@eddiey4k as for a good singer, it's MORE IMPOTANT to present songs that touch people's hearts or could tell stories than to handle a much wider range. What's the point of a singer who'd handle wide range but couldn't /unable to present DIFFERENT stories in his songS?

Gorgor has no problem handling his so many songs, and his all time nost beautifull male vocal always is the best version of a song.

I agree. I like Leslie as well. I am not saying Leslie is not a good singer. However, I have problems with people who went so far to say he has a wider range than Eason, which is not a fact.

If u r based on their songs, the evidence isn't strong enough for your arguement; since gorgor doesn't sing songs in wider range doesn't neccessary mean he'd not handle that.

And he hardly stayed out of tune in his so many songs.

Someone in music field once commented Gorgor's high pitch/tune is so natural that one'd hardly discover.

This is my last response. For those who just refuse to accept different opinions there won't be ground for discussion.

Leslie can handle roughly 2 octave or 16度. Not said by only me. In his own words :"現在我可唱至高音C度左右，即兩個完整的音域，可是在與黎小­田合作之前，並不太懂得運用，而且當時的音域亦未練至那麼闊，所­以，在『風繼續吹』之前，我的key唱得頗高，予人較輕浮的感覺­..." Michael Lai 黎小田 also said in an interview that "His near double octave vocal range..." For other famous male singers, this can help:

These days singers tend to focus on singing high notes and not really putting heart and feeling into the song. When I listen to leslie songs (especially this one), he didn't focus too much on high notes but it's the heart and feeling that he really focus on. I guess that's what makes him a great legend that no one can ever replace!
