you should learn how to box it and then flatten it out for cgi purposes there is a lot of money and career opportunities in texturing. i for one SUCK at texturing because i can never scale the all the sides to their exact specifications so my textures normally turn out a bit warped unless its something simple. I find myself wishing i knew a good texture-er to make my models and animations really pop.
