  • Do doctors steal other doctors practices? Oh no, we go to school and are taught by doctors, lawyers, farmers, personal trainers and the like. Stop the ignorance.

  • if you are a coach can you check out my video and tell me what i can work on I'm trying to improve my game as a point guard in the search type in ronald junior

  • I'm not a basketball coach, but I watch these vids to get ideas for my son. He is 11 and has been doing drills like this for at least 2 years now, and has become an outstanding player. Like someone else said, of course they don't walk in the gym knowing them! It's the coach's job to teach it! Had I not taught my boy because he didn't know at the time, he would never have gotten better.

  • @Gametime013 , glad i saw ur comment, i am the jv bball coach at venon high school florida, 1. nobody walks in the gym knowing anything, its. HOW MUCH TIME hes in the gym, 2. It is/isnt the coachs job to teach it, the player has to be HIS OWN COACH and CORRECT him/herself when they screw up, basketball is about being spontaneous/confident/relentless, preach that and they will become even better

  • maybe not all of the kids will be able to do the drills but that is why the kids PRACTICE. You don't have them practice the things that they already do well, you have them practice drills that they don't do well so that they add to their skill set. You explain that they might not be able to do this perfectly right away but to just slow down a little bit and try to use good fundamentals, like keeping their head up as this coach described. In time they will be able to do the drills.

  • I'm going to have to agree with Bulldog, I would say most youth basketball players have very little hand-and-eye coordination, some can barely dribble. I like the idea of kids constantly having their hands on the ball but dribbling around their legs is tough for kids especially if they are not tall enough for the ball to go through their legs.

  • ok for one youth players cannot do the drills you showed in this video. Ive been coaching youth for 5 years now and everytime ive had couldent do these drills so this video is a fail.

  • I wouldn't say it's a fail, it's just not a good drill for little kids... Not for little league basketball for sure!
