James - what an excellent rendition. I have just seen Steve Hackett live and you are definitely snapping at his heels! I would encourage you to check out another ace guitar hero - Andy Latimer of Camel - if you are not already a fan. I would love to see/hear you do a version of "Ice". Gives me hope for the future!

@lhawes92 I'm pretty sure that's an Epiphone Les Paul. Hope by now, (since this is a few years old), his parents bought him a Gibson Les Paul Standard (and not a "so so" Studio), since he's earned it! Hell, if he was my kid, I would have, and I'm just a bloody guitar teacher, just barely scraping by!

This young man is someone to watch... seriously. Imagine what the 15 year old James McPherson will be capable of? Please tell me somebody has sent this to Steve himself. I have every belief that Steve would be absolutely stunned, not to mention dead chuffed. Looks like the future of music might be okay after all.
