I remember this night very well. The atmosphere was brilliant. On the two or maybe three times we saw Jacko with the Comets (here, Charing Cross Road Astoria in 1990, and maybe also later at Malvern) , he 'played' his guitar with the lead unplugged.
At Malvern (by which time the band was playing much tighter than here), the guitarists from the other bands on the bill all came out and knelt in front of the stage while Frank Beecher played 'Goofin Around'.
Great to see this, first time of many, never a bad show from the grand old rockers, what a packed crowd that was, we were next to the R/H speakers at stagefront, very loud but FANTASTIC.
God bless all who were there, shame we've gained waists and lost hair !
