The situation was emergency situation, may be at those crucial minutes they didn't have easy access to tranquilizers, but they did have easy access to guns...if several local people were killed by those animals ,then the same you would have said why didn't they shoot those animals ?!!!

Were the animals armed? SEDATION Heard of it? TRANQUILIZER heard of it? They seemed to know what they were up against but went hunting instead. I understand people take precedence but it is absurd to me that the Police don't have access to non lethal weaponry for taking animals or people down. Look these animals were in captivity for how long? The police and others involved did what they had to, the only villain in this story is the selfish prick who set the animals free in the middle of a fucking population. @Searching4Truth1 the tazers cops use wouldn't work against animals of that size. And tazers doesn't knock anybody out, it only stuns while electicity is being sent through the wires of the taser. so about 6 seconds of being stunned.

Put yourself in their shoes.. A dozen or so 300 lbs tigers at close range with nothing protecting you or the public from them except your side arm, and you want to sit there and wait for someone to show up with a tranquilizer gun? wtf is wrong with you? The LEOs could have used their loud speakers in the vehicles & bullhorns to warn anyone in the area to stay clear

These were not man-eaters - at the time - I'd say the animals were more afraid of the people than vice-versa

The LEOs should've stayed back & maintained their surroundings until nets & tranquilizers were brought in - shoot only if attacked
