an incredible place to visit......as Canadians, we visited Juno Beach firstly, and Omaha Beach as well. Both beaches were incredible. Omaha was very powerful place to be at. GO!!!! Don't wait. At the Juno beach service this year, there was 20 vets at the Juno Centre. A wonderful experience. The entire Normandy area is beautiful, and tragic at the same time. GO!!
@SUBURUDAN1997 Beaches are public, so no problem to go there (incl. bunkers). You'll find a lot of bunkers along the roads, too. Some bunkers are on private land (museum) and you have to pay a small fee.
