Danjulo is obviously a great player. However, based on the careless interpretation and all those personal whims in this performance (rehearsal), I can hardly call him a respectable musician. The pianist on the other hand must have a big heart to tolerate a cellist like this.

He has got to be the best cellist ever, I saw him at the Sage Gateshead playing Elgar Cello concerto, it was awesome.

Whatever it is, the sound is pretty stuffy and nasal. Could be the player and/or recording.

...its the recording unit, it was laying on the floor... actually it was recorded for a little camera test, so please excuse the sound! but i liked the energy when they played it...
