It was a combo of things: Luke pissed that Laura had Nikolas- a son w/ someone besides him, b4 him, & w/ Mikkos Cassadine's son; Luke's involvement with the mob, Sonny etc. and the danger and shootouts he was always in at his Club and at the Spencer house; When they thought Lucky died in the fire and the aftermath of that before they finally worked together to get him back from Helena.
Wow, those things there just might do it! I don't know why I stopped watching. Because I was hooked during the Luke, Laura and Scotty triangle episodes.
Did Luke believe that Laura was dead at the time, or something? I wouldn't think Luke would do that otherwise. Unless there was a series of unfortunate events and misunderstandings that would lead him to. But those things would never happen on a soap! lol
the writers at general hospital have completely ruined the show. after Emily and Georgie died, i stopped watching. i know its a soap opera, but it seems like they're killing off people too fast. I mean, Alan(who kills off alan) and they brought Laura back for a week and rushed her back into shady brook, and luke is having heart attacks...theyve completely destroyed the show.i dont think they care about anything other than their paycheck
