haha we used to do this at the beach on holidays every year when the wave comes up and that last 1cm of water is left on the sand you could skim for 30+m pretty easy. we used to use our disk, for any water skier you know what i'm taking about pretty much says it circle of ply about 75cmdia i guess. must say didn't know people were hitting ramps and sliders thats pretty sweet never thought of that.

everyone knows how to ride a wave. go to it wait till it hits peak then bend the knees and cut out or in ward and then ride the wave back out to shore. ive done both kinds of skimming and its much harder to do skim tricks then that and for the record these people are rookies try doing the biger ramp then landing and zinging the board forward jumping back on and doing a one legged 1080 spin. lot harder then surf skimming. both are skimboarding though.
