  • I saw Waylon live in 93 when he was 56 and had just had bypass. He looked 35 and gave the standard great performance we all loved him for. He was such a fixture in my lifetime that I too assumed he'd be there for ever. Hardly a day goes by--nearly 11 years after his passing -- that I am not reminded of him or his music. I just stopped by Music Valley's Earnest tubb store and got two really nice Waylon DVDs. Thanks for posting this video.

  • I met Waylon a couple of months before He died;He said; The best thing that ever happened too him was that He met his wife Jessi Colter.I have never heard a song by him that I did not like.

  • Does anyone know who the female singer is?

  • Waymore was and still is the very best !

  • bravo waylon...the best

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful...would bring a tear to a glass eye. God Bless Waylon & the band. xx

  • It's hard to believe that Diabetes was eating him alive here. He looked well, and his voice was so strong. In an article that I read about Waylon, by the time this concert film was made, Waylon was confined to a wheelchair, he could stand only long enough to get into the chair and back out again. His body was is immense pain and his foot was injured and wouldnt heal. Eventually 11 months or so after this filmed his foot was actually removed. I remember thinking Waylon would live forever.

  • Absolute superb performance and this hand picked band shows creative genius for a "country" performer

  • I could listen to this over and over....beautiful. What a loss - far to early.xx

  • fantastic waylon i love this two songs :-)

  • The very best.

  • No matter how old he was or in what phase of his career, Waylon's voice was still strong and true. We just lost him way too soon as he had still so much music in his soul that he could have given us. He just never stopped growing or stretching his musical and vocal talent.

  • Simply the BEST, God bless you for the posting. R.I.P. Thanks Hoss

  • It looks like he enjoyed his last concert a lot!! That makes it easier to watch.......but it's still sad that he is no longer with us:(

    Thanks for posting!
