the pace needed to be picked up bit. we played this for honor band in alabama and had only about 9 hours on this piece and three others and we kicked ass. plus the trumpet came in a beat early on his solo at 2:09. nice woodwinds though.

HAHa! I went to ALL COUNTY with my school. I was chosen to go. And all of us sounded like professionals. They actually recorded it for us. i could not believe how slow this was i could have read a novel.. then finished this song by myself and you still wouldnt be done.. HAHA. The teacher might need to listen to the song with the class to get the tempo right eh? I think so.. but it was a good attempt.. i guess i mean you fell apart on alot of parts.. well. the song just sucked. RATE THIS COMMENT!

intunation problems, keeping of time problems. people arent reli playing together. and the trumpets can reli play there instruments...they dont sound crisp and clear with their note. but the sax was good at their solo.

trumpets should have hit it hard but they sounded bad comin in, the tone just wasnt there, i played it with my district band so all us trumpets were really good and we hit it super hard but it sounded awesome...

trumpets need to back off on their entrance. they can hit it hard but kinda forte piano it. cause in this one you can barely hear the horn and trombone entrances. also the trumpets have poor tone and pitch like the solo for example. not only was the timing was off but he or she were over blowing big time. and measure 77 is supposed to be the impact and it didnt get much louder.i have to say overall it wasnt too horrible for middle school. i give you a 3/5. i am a trumpet player myself by the way

i know what u mean i mean this was ony 2nd year trumpets and in my opinion they did sound horrid i mean but hey we only had like 3 weeks to prepair the show and the lowbrass was suck... in evy band that i have been which is 5 all except 1 had sucky brass woodwinds always out shindd the brass. the way i see it is if ur not dedicated your tone will suffer..

i didnt say much about the woodwinds basically because they did pretty good and im primarily a brass player anyways. the low brass wasnt too bad at some parts.. its just them trumpets -___- ughhhh. like measure... 45 i believe the woodwinds didnt to bad. and the sax solo was blunt but very accurate and had okay tone. and im not sure what to say about the perc lol. but i still stand by my 3/5.

this is pretty decent for a middle school orchestra, i played this song for a state honorband, and my favorite part of the whole song was always measures 44-65.. but in the band the brass seems to overpower the woodwinds, especially when the woodwinds have the melody, you can't hear it.. but its pretty good =)
