  • The sound is fucked up. Ruins the video. You can find better ones on youtube.

  • what is wrong with the sound?

  • i smell bush tapin youtube

gosh u would think, tapin lines was worse

    now youtube?

  • Idiot

  • brava!

  • That is on damn good rant. Wow! Someone speaking truthful in the District!Remember H.W. stated on Sept. 11th 1990 that we had a chance for a New World Order.Look up the speech that all I can say!

  • i've watched this video several times, i guess it makes me feel like someone in washington gives a shit.

  • After he voted for the 700 billion dollar bailout I have to wonder who he represents.

  • He states on his website, he did not really want to, but was afraid what the consequence was to not do anything.

  • Keep repeating the dem party lines, Tim. You are no Jim Trafficant. You are a sock puppet just like Jason Altmire

  • Tim Ryan is the President we need now!!!

  • I wanna move to Ohio now.

  • g. w. bush is a Piece of Shit

  • Tell that to your fellow Repubes that have to yell louder because they need constant attention, and because they can't be disagreed with. At least this guy has facts, you don't.

  • haha, i am a democrat. i just get wholly annoyed when people yell into microphones. i like your cheap shot at me nonetheless.

  • respect!

  • now that's a definition of "keepin' it real" !

  • He gives be a boner... for two reasons.

  • Good man. Great Rep, strait from the Mahoning Valley

  • powerful and correct!

  • that was funny.

  • The ugly truth right there

  • PWNT

  • i love my representative! this guy spoke at my highschool, he's great

  • Hmmm. Ryan seems full of vigor in front of the camera but look at what he puts his signature on.

  • '*support by the people of US is vital* to sustaining war effort in Iraq, & support must be reinvigorated if it is to sustain USmilitary through current and future operations in Iraq. US should deploy additional transition teams & should backfill those personnel with personnel from other services if needed given the critical nature of this mission'

  • 'require the continued rotation of USmilitary forces to fight insurgency in Iraq; USmilitary & Army continue to show increasingly dangerous levels of strain as war in Iraq & global war on terrorism continue to demand sustained high levels of operational tempo; to meet a critical need in the short term US Army has reduced quality standards. these measures by US Army raise concern about whether the Army will continue to be as effective in its operations in Iraq as it has been'

  • I do not know Ryan's stand on the draft but I do know he has cosponsored Democrat authored legislation that sure seems to encourage extra troops in Iraq. H.Con.Res.185

  • ? Ryan says, 'because of what is happening, in order to deal with the manpower crisis, there is "one option" left- Draft.' When actually that there are several options. Ryan must not realize that we can, or he does not want to, withdraw our troops!

  • Ryan says, "I rise in option of this BILL." WHAT bill? This video doesn't say. And Ryan doesn't actually say whether he is for the draft or not; however, Democrats are typically draft advocates. Regardless, once there is a "need" there will be a bipartisan effort to draft in one form or the other.

  • Don't you get that?! Listen to the end. That's his point. He's talking about Compulsory Conscription. Reinstating the DRAFT!

  • He's against it. He's just explaining why no young people in America believe the Administration when they say that the Draft will not start up.

  • nekojin42, couldn't reply. ? check new comment.

    Janet

  • He says a lot of great things, it's too bad he's pro-life and pro-gun otherwise he could really go places.

  • Yes, God forbid the man for standing up for our Constitutional rights and having personal convictions regarding abortion.

  • No, that's the problem with our party today, we're too close-minded. I'm pro-choice and pro-gun control, but I still think Rep. Ryan is a great Democrat and can really 'go places' BECAUSE of his views. We need to show that we're really a big-tent party and that views on abortion and guns are not what define us as a party.

  • Holy shit Tim Ryan sounds like like Jimmy Stewert in Mr. SMith goes to Washington.

  • There are others, but they don't want to risk losing their jobs. Or they blabble on about issues that hold no regard to other issues.

  • first person that I've heard that speaks his mind... I feel the same way as he does...

  • My name is Tim Ryan. :O

This is one of the few Democrats that seems more left than he lets off.

  • finally someone said it. too bad this isnt gonna get any attention from all the americans :(

it seems that Bush is just using fear to keep everyone on his side. constantly bringing up 9/11 to try to "prove" a point. fuckin republicans :P

  • Good rhetoric. Too sad it's true too, my Transatlantic friends.

  • Wow that was corageous.

    Awesome.

  • i love this guy

  • Hell yea! Glad to see that not everyone is swallowing everything bush puts out, and some are even fighting against him. Go, Tim Ryan!!!

  • Absolutely. Unfortunately they don't report on guys like this in the corporate media.

  • Of course not. It's part of the whole, "if you're not with us, you're with the terrorists" mentality. Conspiracy nuts, hippies, un-patriotic, these are the labels they use to shut dissenters up. Works every time, regardless of the type of government. Tell the people they are under attack, start a war, and discredit anyone that disagrees.
