This is the first opening for the PS2 version of Fate stay night (full named Fate/stay night Real Nua) after the prelude. There are also a lot of PSP variants of the Fate serious, but this is not.

Many of the scenes are similar and this is probably because the creators of the anime wanted to invoke the images from the visual novel when they could do so. Many of the scenes are reminiscent of the anime scenes but there are slight changes here and there. Still, I can see where the confusion would arise.

I really like the OP for the PS2 version. It's a pity Type-Moon doesn't translate their Visual Novels for western audiences. I would be more than glad to pay for the luxury of having a professional translation. Don't get me wrong, Mirrormoon does a great job.

It's a visual novel there is no gameplay at all

It's basically a book. You read it with words and everything and occasionally you get to a point where you make choices like "Do you rape Illya" and if you make the wrong choice you subsequently get killed.

For Saber's H-scene, they replaced it with a weird dragon CGs.

From what I know, and I could be wrong, he goes inside Saber (mentally), finds a dragon, gets skewered, and mana is replenished.

I don't really know the details of that but that, but that's essentially it. The second one I'm not so sure about.

For Rin's H-scene they did some weird fish-thingy, and no skewering.

On a funny note, where in the PC ver she kept her stockings, she takes them off in the PS2 ver.

yeah, in unlimited bladeworks. Archer remembers who he is and tries to stop himself from becoming a hero by killing Shirou(his past self) after realizing that he can't convince him to change his ideals. He comes up with a pretty good plan to do it too, after Rin uses a command spell to prevent him from attacking Shirou.
