Magic jack sucks. No customer service. The sound is terrible. You have to keep your computer on all the time. I had it before people could not here me on the phone. I think vonage is 100 times better than magic jack. I took the magic jack and smashed it with a hammer. Besides they came out with somthing better than magic jack. Net talk and with net talk there is customer service plus it conneects to your modem and plugs in the wall. So you dont have to keep your computer on all the time.

$40.00 to slow your computer to a snail's pace not worth it, costomer service is a joke, they just read you que cards and have you run the same test to make you think they're trying to do something but its always the same tests and never resolve anything, save your money this isn't worth it, if its so good why won't they give refunds on their product, don't they stand behind what they sell!
well its not free free, you pay $20 each year. And it makes international calls free if you are in another country and call U.S.A or Canada. doesnt call other countries for free

Well I guess you can turn off your PC (and the magicjack obviously) and then catch the emails from the calls that won't go thru when the PC is turned off.
they dont have costomer service. people where saying that they order 2 of the items and got billed twice. there isent any call center. I want to try it. but if so many people give it bad feed back then this is sign they they should improve the quaity. I read people have had problems september 2008. I thought this problem was just in may but its happening now. some freind have it and arent having problems. but it was on the news that making long distance call had lot of tatic. how did u like it ?

I watched it and its been helpfull. some friends in arizona have majicjack and say they love it they have had it for 6 months . when I went to amazon the rating was a 2half star and people where saying how the qaulity wasent as good. the sometime logging into account to make call jams up. I dont know how many people out there are having this problem with newer computer. I wonder if people have newer pc or old one.why people dont like it.I havent tryed it yet.

I like skype better & they a hookup 20.00 witch let u hook your phone up to your pc & you can choose any phone. unlimted call for 2.95 month and the quality is great. no ecos. 37 dollers a year. just buy a headset from target. make internet phone call. hooking up your old house phone to your computer is wonderfull......

I'd try Google Voice in the last couple days to call friends in the USA.....Totally free (included Canada). You don't need any JACK at all.

When I go on trips I take it with me and make a gazillion calls from hotels without paying a dime.
