Quran 27:18 claims that ants can distinguish military personnel from other creatures, and even contemplate the awareness of other creatures. Ridiculous.
@OptimisticCynic715, 1:04 does not talk about it and 1:20 does not exist. 27:18, is correct. Ants does not the danger and from my knowledge all the animals knows the danger and aware of the danger. For example, snake, you go near him they'll surely bite. Some dogs, they'll chase you if you run and if you go after them they get scared and run away. When you attack an Ants colony they'll attack you even though humans are so big compared to them.

You must see documentary of ants to understand their life. Their life is similar to ours. So ant's can identify that there is a group of people coming towards them and they know that they'll die if they stand there. It's simple but you trying to change words like "reflect on whether those soldiers are aware of them". Where did you get that from?
Ants have poor vision or are blind. Find me a science source that says otherwise.

I meant 1:04 to 1:20 in your video. Might be off a couple of seconds:

Quran 27:18 suggests they can identify human soldiers, not just danger, and reflect on whether those soldiers are aware of them.
The article you link, "Hills are alive...", says they can be tricked into killing their own children by mimicking their signals.
